You're supposed to play with other players and make universally good builds for frame with exalted (dante, hildryn) or very high power strength invincible frames (revenant) with roar.
Unlocking EDA is the hardest part, you generally should just trade a carry with someone else or ask a friend to carry you. It's a personal unlock, just like the eye so only you need to do it.
If gear embargo isn't active, you can use an ancient specter to reduce the damage on the objective by half and your on call crew to destroy everything (best is 5/5 on damage/health and the rifle crit elite trait with kuva zarr and a build without any galvanized or conditional mod, each shot should about 1m damage). Your archgun is also usable and so are specters (use the cheapest option with dante, weapons don't matter, they're unmodded).
EDA and ETA are easier because the final reward is not worth it (vosfor and currency respectively) so you can bring a frame or reward that is not on your listing or disable one of the effects and still get the 5 rolls.

In Starcraft 2 Coop we have a cool mutator that everyone likes that we should have in EDA/ETA called Polarity.
Each enemy that spawns is assigned a color, and can only be damaged by a specific player. Would be fun to have Quad Demolishers or Legacytes where each of them have to be killed by a different player to make sure everyone in the group pulls his weight.

Spy missions can take some amount of critical thinking, so I'm more ok with expecting to end up handling 2 or all 3 when it comes up in a sortie. But seeing people just ignore fallen keys 3 rooms away for a minute (forcing me to traverse over there and then bring it back to the pylon) makes ticks me off. You only need it on frames who are regularly armor stripping via corrosive. Two greens give 14 corrossive stacks which is full strip. One tau gives 13 which is like 98% strip or something now with the rework to armor.
I just put one tau on frames like saryn and call it a day.

Pablo isn't just the rework guy, which is the problem. He did his job too good back in the day with frames like saryn and got promoted to head warframe designer. So now reworks take forever since he has 15 other things to manage.

Short answer is corrosive shards are only worth it on Saryn.
Long answer is that corrosive is in an extremely poor meta position, most enemies will die quicker with viral+heat, and Saryn is the only frame that you would expect to be able to even reach a point semi-regularly where you benefit from corrosive shards increasing the corrosive stack cap. Especially if you don't play endurance runs.
