Achilles is really funny because he's one of the most famous heroes with the most famous weakness, but his kit is overloaded with stuff he doesn't need with additional caveats that aren't wholly necessary because Higashide has a really weird sense of balance and seemingly-arbitrary restrictions.
Achilles still hard walls any war with Servants without Divinity or Divine Constructs UNLESS you can somehow hit his ankle, but that's already like 3 caveats on its own. He's weighed down with extra shit that really could have been separated into other classes so that Higashide could have eased the reins on some of the weird restrictions.

After the first round of Grands is done, I hope they do another round with the original Grands in proper Grand form if we don’t get any of them now. Kind of depends cause when you see Traum, Siegfried is good at defending not just himself, but also everyone behind him and Vlad’s tactics can make up for a difference in numbers. I think this is why they gave so much importance to him, he isn’t necessarily beating down who is in front of him, but if you aren’t getting to what’s behind him the story changes you get a moving wall to adjust as you take offensive stance.
There is Hanging Gardens from Semiramis but there is the Adam that will keep growing if he isn’t offed ASAP, his from Astolfo can cost legs and loss of mobility can be deadly to Kazikly Bey. Mordred’s Instinct is actually pretty good at detecting danger and acting accordingly so the faction could avert disatvantageous combat.

I don't think it's a big stretch to say that the best Servants in that war are basically full-support Karna > Dracula > Vlad in his territory >= Karna >= Achilles >= Siegfried. Achilles and Siegfried are the least conditional, but Achilles has a main counter on the Black team while Siegfried is a knowledge + skill check. Karna is roughly equal to them without support, but his total operational time seems lower because, aside from his godly spear skills, all of his stuff is flashy and expensive. Vlad is generally superior to all of them at base as long as he's in his territory and Dracula either needs a unified front or an unrestricted Karna to deal with.
Semiramis + her fortress is probably comparable to Vlad in his territory as a threat, but she seems to have less direct combat ability of her own. However, she has more logistical uses.

Berserker Herc's threat is because of his High stats and Godhand. No sword/bow/axe skills, just pure brute strength and regenerating lives and immunity. Grand Berserker gave him back everything.
So if somehow Berserker Lancelot becomes Grand(kek), would anything he touched become an NP? Does he not need to seal his NPs to draw Arondight?
I guess Herc is better since he has more weapons but Lancelot can turn anything into a weapon.

The homunculi were using the same principle of Chaldea (or rather Chaldea was using the same mechanics as them). The mana goes to the master first then to the servant. They still had all the limitations that came with that which was why Caules got recoil from Fran and the Musik were explicitly a fallen family that would need 3 generations of good successors to recover.
Amakusa literally had to combo his NP, Shakespeare and the Hanging Gardens to make a direct connection of the servants to the grail and circumvent any limitations caused by the masters.
Also, Karna wasn’t close to beating up any of them. He was evenly matched with Siegfried for hours and most he scored was a single blow on Vlad. If you wanna argue he could eventually win, sure, a decisive blow could do that. But at the same time with his poor mana efficiency fighting too long could lead to a disadvantage.

It's less that he can decisively beat up Karna or Achilles (though stakes from every direction could be a problem for Achilles) but rather that he covers most of the war front on his own. Having so much control over the battlefield from a distance is a valuable tool to have in a war that isn't just a series of 1v1 duels. He might lose in a direct engagement against Karna or Achilles, but he doesn't need to outright win it because it's a team fight. That's what his allies are for. Siegfried is the greatest direct combatant on the Black team and he can wreck shit so long as he doesn't have to worry about his back. Vlad can cover for him nicely while he engages a heavy hitter.
Vlad can at least stall against either Karna or Achilles as well. Setting aside Dracula, Vlad was able to temporarily immobilize Karna and force him to use his prana burst to break out, which is a big drain for Karna. Achilles could get his heel pierced by a random stake if he tries to mad dash toward his opponent, so he's forced to stay in his chariot (which isn't a huge downside granted).

There's making them OP and then there's just breaking down all meaningful divisions between classes. Berserkers are pretty much always summoned with weapons. Herk specifically doesn't come with one normally, which is why the Einzberns furnished him with the axesword made from a chunk of his temple. Being summoned as Grand literally just gave him access to treatment most other Berserkers get by default.
Lancelot already gets a weapon he normally has as Saber, but with a limitation.
Beowulf just gets his swords and can use them perfectly fine.
Lu Bu gets God Force and can use two of its six forms without issue as Berserker.
So on and so forth. Hercules is just being caught up to where other Berserkers are in terms of armaments. He doesn't seem to be able to use them with full proficiency anyway.
