Nightfall hourly event + weekly quest gives you a token to buy a champion item
Tier 8 delve with a bounty map gives you a heroic item
You can spam delves after that for champ gear and idk what nightfall gives, maybe veteran warbound stuff
Pinnacle cache quests give you veteran gear, you can do 3 of those a week
Tier 11 delves drop mythic gilded tokens and you could probably get enough between this week and next week to craft a 681 item (needs 90 tokens)
Undermine zone main story ends with you killing gallywix for an enchanted heroic token so you can craft a 658 item and requires zero crests
You can always spam m+ dungeons, do normal raid or whatever.
Also if you have renown with the different factions you can visit the quartermasters and see if they have any crests or valorstones you can grab to upgrade this season's gear

Been watching a lot of these zone lock videos and I was thinking of doing something like it but not as extreme. Where I just take my time in a zone.
