It was more serious in tone. On my first playthrough I really enjoyed my time but I just finished my second one and I was mostly bored. Almost 100% of C4 is just scrolling though text or winning unlosable fights. There should've been a lot more interactivity.

Gerson was stylish but rather easy, the Titan was a total pushover and a huge disappointment - for all the build-up the fight had, the actual battle was over in like what... 5 turns? Overall I'd say C4 is strong when it comes to narrative and introduces a lot more depth a lot of characters and motivations, but as a videogame it's brutally uninteractive and thus boring. On my first go the plot kept me engaged so I didnt notice how bad the gameplay got but my second run had me fucking snoozing.
