Looks strong. Dog is surprisingly good, but dogless is likely better anyway because the smigger mine is crazy strong. Impact grenade is mid, dog explosion is mid.
All the auras kinda suck, toughness regen with 8 dogs is a meme but probably a half-decent meme.
Lorewalk stance looks very good with a bolter, cuckspeaker seems to be trash, kruber bash is good because it has next to no cooldown.
The class has a couple of skill nodes that are far too valuable, and only has cooldown reduction in the left keystone which also happens to give you wallhack.
You get a retarded amount of cleave and really powerful melee weapons, with the main weakness of not being able to take down bosses quickly in melee. Thankfully, you can mow them down faster with your bolter than vet can hope to.

Class looks to be power crept by design because everything has to be havoc 40 viable now.

There’s a warp storm making travel difficult, and the guard are at war on other planets in the system. Grendels plan was to keep the cult spreading to the hive on the down low and take care of it with whatever limited resources he has available to while doing something else we still don’t know of. Taser shotgun seems kinda trash because it wants to be a horde clear gun (lol) and has a useless special, while the armor break shotgun is an accurate, high damage special sniper.
Anny ammo drops restore the special rounds so they want to be spammed, but they don't seem to be good enough to spam. The taser is clearly intended for malice where a single crusher poses a serious threat.
The existing shotguns were also buffed in theoretically good ways, but I have better things to do than parasocially watch streamers all the time, and they're not particularly popular weapons with them anyway. That being said, if you're doing some kind of melee focus and don't want to run a bolter on your beetus, I'd imagine the regular old accatran (brown shotgun with incendiary rounds) is going to be your go-to boss melter, because 'beetus also gets a +30% monstrosity damage in the bottom left keystone. Unsure whether the +15% ranged damage on reload applies to fire, but that might also make a HUGE difference if it does.

Skitarii are mostly found on Admech Forgeworlds and Explorator fleets, Atoma is Imperium jurisdiction so they have to protect the Admech running the hive and manufactorum.
Kayex is just our tech support because he's familiar with Atoma's infrastructure. He also can't possibly be the only living Techpriest left on Atoma.
Arbites are also trained in Schola Progeniums putting them on the level of Commissars, Sororitas and Stormtroopers, so lorewise they're more elite than the Rejects, Skitarius or a low ranking Techpriest.

The armor break shotgun IS strong, it might even be good, but I fear that most of it is carried by the arbites skill tree being severely power crept, because the class can delete a beast of nurgle (damnation) in a single bolter magdump. Bolter is still going to be the best gun if you can handle the swap and reload times.

As far as I can tell, the shotgun has less ammo than the bolter, and bolter isn't actually an ammo hungry weapon. You can build arby's for massive gun damage, crit chance, crit damage, and weakspot damage, and your bolter to function as a sniper rifle. If you one-tap everything you shoot in the head short of crushers who require two bullets, it's a relatively ammo efficient gun. Just never hip fire it unless your life depends on it.

I was considering bolt pistol on melee arby's because it only trades ammo efficiency for a much faster swap and movement speed to supplement a slow-ass two-handed weapon, but accatran shotgun to burn bosses dead with a massive +50% monstrosity damage in the tree will probably be the first thing I'll try with melee, since it only requires minimal investment. I just hope the dog is good enough at mauling faraway snipers the shotgun can't really harm.

Sefoni's goon dimension just happens to be one of the more wipe-proof modes because enemies come to you at a steady pace and the respawn is in a fixed, relatively safe location every time. If you have an unupdated, unmodified version, it doesn't track some stats correctly. If I remember correctly, someone posted a comment on nexus for the ovenproof scoreboard plugin that explains how you have to update it.

I immediately rushed havoc 40 and true survivor as soon as I fucking could, and completed in the first two weeks, fearing exactly what has transpired: Many good players have lost interest (though some still regularly play), but most importantly, they have all moved on from the lower ranks leaving only the complete and utter shitters behind that are NGMI.
My advice would be to play supportcuck zealot and accept you won't be dealing any relevant melee damage. In my experience, it's always the zealots trying to play havoc like it's auric, neglecting the corruption aura in favor of toughness, forgetting to chorus, and generally not playing well with the team.

In a way, I still think zealot is the most useful class to have in a team, because chorus spam + flamer are pretty disgusting, but that only matters when the team sticks together and actually fulfills their own roles. If everyone is retarded, like the usual auric quickplay lobby, nothing is easier to win with than ogryn.

I’m really surprised I haven’t seen any one talking about this, 25% strength for 10 seconds is a massive buff, combine it with the charge which gives 25% more damage and has a cool down in the ball park of 10 seconds and staggers shit, this getting all the stacks you just spent back. Even for ranged builds it seems like the better pick compared to the other two keystones, since strength is going to be stack multiplicative buff on top of the huge amount of additive damage bonuses the class has. I’ve not really seen anything but people picking execution order for the 30% damage to monsters, but 25% strength is worth far more than that.

The pump shotgun is in a really weird spot of just being a really good chaff clearer at a distance while also being a good heavy killer. Every pellet does so much damage. The way to make a sob work in darktide would be to have Grendel or Iven politely request the local order for assistance and they send a few spare sisters as a show of support for the inquisition. You could even explain away the lack of power armor by having them be novitiates, who use flak armor before they graduate to power armor. The real issue with sob is that they have way too much overlap with zealot. They would have many of the same weapons, style, and even the faith based abilities. That's the actual reason it won't happen.

I think this cuts to the heart of it. The auras, abilities, keystones, and blitzes of the Zealot leave almost nothing for a Sister of Battle. Everyone (weirdly, IMO) points to Repentia as a class despite the Zealot ostensibly being a Repentia in all but name. I couldn't design the class differently from the Zealot if you asked. You'd have to try a different tact, but the only thing I can think of is make is a heavy weapon specialist. That presents its own set of problems though. I could see them having a nightmare of a time trying to figure out how to balance the weapons, and or sort out how to make an interesting skill tree from this without it feeling like a one-trick pony because they boxed themselves in from the start. SoB bros should probably just wait until Darktide 2 when they clean slate everything, probably drop the stupid Rejects concept, give us character archetypes who are as powerful as our retards are for whatever reason. In the Eisenhorn books, Eisenhorn released Cherubael as a last resort to get an upper hand in a fight, obviously once the battle was over the Greater Daemon was hellbent on trying to kill/posses Eisenhorn himself. But Cherubael, a Greater Daemon, was completely stopped due to a faithful priest putting himself between Gregor and Cherubael.

Once the Eversor has a "scent" to follow, the final procedure is to launch them into the planet. And let them go at it, collateral damage be damned.

I only do heresy difficulty because I've heard the meta is just doing as much damage as possible and I like to roll more RP-ish build, and I figure people are going to yell at me if I bring those to any kind of serious difficulty.

For instance, when I'm playing Veteran, I like to play as a "typical guardsman" with an infantry lasgun instead of one of the busted guns. On Zealot, I like to roll with Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude because I think pulling out a holy symbol while shouting "REPENT" at everyone in the room, causing all my enemies to become stunlocked and my allies to get boosted up through nothing but my raw zeal is cool. When I play Ogryn I like to be a tank who runs around knocking all his enemies down and protecting the little 'uns. When I play Psyker, I like to go with all psyker abilities and items and just sling spells the whole time to be a space wizard.

I just kind of operate on the assumption that people would get angry at me if I brought that into any kind of serious difficulty.

then your build is perfectly viable. You can theoretically give up any one of those and still be okay for the most part, but you're going to suffer because, more likely than not, your retards won't take care of any of the above.
If for example you go some heavy sword + infantry las veteran build, you won't have anything to deal with armor, but you can fix that with krak grenades and grenade regen talents. It's not optimal or great, but it at least rounds out your build.
From my experience, randos wipe most frequently to the psychological effects of BIG SCARY HEALTHBAR + MUSIC and run around like headless chickens when a monstrosity spawns, and bring absolutely nothing that can kill them fast. Any gun with +25% unyielding that also sets them on fire takes care of that within seconds, so infantry las is perfectly serviceable for example. I regularly, embarrassingly (for my retards) have top boss damage with a fucking laspistol on my zealot.
