Qingyi being a field hog was always her main issue. She came out fairly early and was the first premium stunner, so yeah she got overhyped. She was also designed before ZZZ went through it's multiple identity crisis's.

Stunners are off field now (See Pulchra, Trigger, and now Ju Fufu) to accommodate the shift to on-field DPS. Fufu's buffs are the most generic out of these stunners. Yes, there will be better stunners than her in the future but she will be relevant on almost any team for a long time.

Ball depends on what balls you have currently. Brimstone is a solid "generic" ball for a bunch of attackers. Hellfire is good for most stunners who aren't on the field a lot. Rina's ball is basically only for her or maybe Nicole. Fusion Compiler is actually a pretty strong ball for anomaly, especially for Yanagi. Lycaon's ball just kinda exists.
