S3 can be good but wants specifically ops like Ambushers and FRD to be easier to use. Strong but conditional. S2 is the easy to use decently powerful heal/Arts damage mix, S1 is just a strong healer that heals unhealables and can stack a lot of DEF on allies, makes ranged allies pretty tanky and very strong on unit clumps. I've seen discussion about current CN championship and I feel an urgent need to clarify some things about team composition.
Every team has captain (guy, who organizes everything), vice-captain (helper, chosen by captain) and two usual members. Every team has "anchor" position. Anchor runs last, runs talons, and can get bonus points (x1.3 if kills super big egg Amiya). Anchor can be anyone - captain, vice-captain or usual player.
Today second guy with Tragodia run wasn't captain. He was anchor.
Captain was guy who did amazing guard/vanguard talons run. He is considered one of the strongest IS players ever and he is extremely unlucky - for different reasons he is never able to get to finals (in this tournament, he won smaller ones). This was probably his best possibility - he made a team out of actual monsters with highest audition requirements.
Tragodia guy, today's anchor, carried his team on previous big tournament (in anchor position too). I still don't understand how he managed to fuck up like this today, yet it happened.

Another clarification about runs: there could be no more then two talon runs. Talon runs get more scores then lamp runs (because there are more fights in talon runs) so all teams go 2 lamp 2 talons.

It may seem callous but I really just want more Asky. What I can only assume is his design work (since he loves two tone hair and apparently gore magala) on Ascalon is very charming, but he has always been lacking in a personal style. His apology letter seemingly pawning Ascalon's design points off as a co-creation thing also makes the shilling in the previous sentence come off as backhanded though, and calling copying the wing pattern without even tracing over it makes the declaration of love just come off as "I thought this joke would've been 1000x funnier."
I feel mildly sorry for him because he seemed generally unfortunate for an HG artist with his characters constantly being killed, written off, or made largely irrelevant compared to how some in-house artists get super pushed characters.
