WHY DO PEOPLE SAY RUNE IS BUSTED? If Rune doesn't drop Anne & Grea T5 their win rate instantly drops by 50% and if it doesn't come out by T6 they're bricked. I'm going to throw some fuel on the fire for my schizo theory that KMR might outright remove old sets from the shop once they rotate, outright raining on the parade of anyone who intends to keep rolling on the starter set to turn it into a long term vial farm. I got lucky and pulled a 2nd ticket for Cerb. I haven't decided what to spend it on, which accidentally led to me noticing this little detail in one of the additional menus: Leader tickets expire.

To me that implies that the entire shop menu for that set where you can exchange leader tickets has a shelf life and that KMR wanted to bake in extra FOMO. Want a leader? Gotta whale for it while it's in rotation. To many players must have been dutifully saving up anniversary rolls to backtrack for Mono or other classic leaders.

I very much hope that I am completely wrong about this. But at this point do you feel like you can trust KMR?

I wanna play it, but I didn't luck out with Kuon, and just have 2 dykes for the deck. Hoping next expansion will let you play it pure, or about as pure as you can play it. I can see someone MAYBE take the dyke spot, but Kuon is just too busted for what she costs to lose her spot. Even if you get some new way to close out the game, you would run both... Imagine that your entire deck is dykes. You have dykes, you have dykes 2 on gold, you have budget dykes on silver, you have diet dykes on bronze. You're just trying to edge your opponent out on over-statted cards every turn while getting in damage and then you finish with Kuon. Like read how ridiculously good this card is and how it gets overshadowed by dykes. Dazzling Runeknight is very consistently a 4/4 ward on 3, sometimes you Christmasland her going second after opening up with Witch's New Brew and get her on 2 which basically nothing in the game answers. Your deck just generates a metric fuckton of free removal and huge stat lines. And because you have wards for days, sword and forest often can't play through you to kill even if they hit all their cards.

There're two big issues here. The first one is that the deck has consistency issues because you have to open up both earth sigils and payoffs so it's prone to dying randomly the same way spell boost is prone to dying randomly while not being quite as good of a deck. The second issue is the artifact match up isn't winnable if the artifact player knows what they're doing because all 3 of their 5pp artifacts are relevant in the match up. Healing stops your aggro plan, direct damage skips wards, and 3 damage board wipes is exactly the number you have to hit to kill golems. It's one of the match ups where mech is actually relevant since your tempo is JUST slow enough that you can't kill them quite they're stabilizing.

It's solidly a tier 2 deck with the help of the busted rune legendaries but it has no potential to break into tier 1 right now.

Spellboost seems like they gave it zero innate value and just randomly slapped it onto shit with no change in unit cost. Meanwhile every intimidate card is overvalued with shit stats because they think it's a useful mechanic in a game where everyone has free full board clear.

I'd run 3 Anne and 3 Kuon if I had them but I don't and I haven't crafted anything yet. It's basically just "search earth and run 3 of everything" except the board wipe which didn't seem meta relevant to me.

This is unpolished and I'm sure there are ways to make it better besides increasing the legendary budget. I do honestly believe it's tier 2 good but I don't recommend building it if you don't already have the cards since there're cheaper tier 1 decks.

This game is just rock paper scissors except for abyss.

Low cost sword and forest is weak to 4 cost neutral ward.
But having it in your deck will reduce your combo (portal, rune) pace.

Mid cost sword will kill (portal, rune)combo. But weak to barrier (only haven have this now)

Haven is weak to abyss bane flood.

Abyss is jack of all trade. They can kill high cost (haven, dragon), they can kill low cost (with neutral), against aggro they can also vampirize.
