It's an awful group of areas even for keknewal standards.

No one on Pre-re likes it because it has absurd stats that are stupid to match with pure pre-re equip, and no one likes it on Renewal either because by the time you're supposed to get there, you have outgrown Splendide and Manuk on gear, while Mora and Dicastes make you go through either 1 thousand dailies or Scaraba dungeon.
Eclage just kind of exist but no one goes there other than to get a Menblatt card and then go do something else.

Probably the only ones who kind of like Manuk are ninjas because Bradium Golem leveling is easy for them.

You then get back up to Swordsman, and then you will WANT to go to job 50 this time to not miss out on those skills.
From there you can now change to Lord Knight or Paladin which was your previous choice's form but now with new skills that actually make the class playable.
