Arbitrator shotgun is S-tier. Literally one of the best weapons in the game.
Shock Maul and Shield is S-tier using the exploit, or a very solid A-tier without it.
The Shield and Shotpistol is not particularly good, but it is useable and flavorful. I'm giving it C-tier.
The one-handed mauls are also useable. C-tier.

None of the weapon buffs they gave out this patch to shotguns, axes, mauls, or any of the rest did anything to move them all out of C or D-tier.

No. They probably aren't going to nerf either for a while given the massive amount of anger that the changes created from the translated Chinese patch notes. I am guessing they'll kick the can down the road on those so as not to fuck with the playercount for as long as possible (why make a bunch of people mad when this is the highest their concurrent players have been since launch?) They also probably need to do some bug fixing/tweaking from shit that was introduced this patch.

So I changed to female Maul and honestly I don't think I can tell a difference.

I have played bunch of missions and I think the voices sound too similiar to one another. Like all the VAs are trying to do the same thing voice wise, I don't know how else to explain it.
I still think the 4 original reject classes have much better voice acting because they all sound distinct and you can instantly tell which personality/character it is.

I think that part of the problem there is that they're all ultimately doing "hardass copper", just slightly different flavours. Even the zealots feel like they've been branched out a bit more.
That said, maybe as they move up the levels and meet more classes, maybe we'll get some better variations. I've already heard one or two decent jibes at my baby seer (who I'll admit I rolled specifically to fish for interactions, because I thought that character type would really piss off the scuffers).

I think most people will gravitate towards the Mk XI. It's got a versatile moveset even if the horde clear is a bit annoying since your only cleaving horizontal attacks are L1, L2, then H1, but your single target is piss-easy, you just spam H2 > H3 over and over. Also, avoid like the plague if you hate uppercut attacks because its got three of 'em.

I personally prefer the Mk VI because its L3 is a shield stab, and I love having shield bashes/slams in light attack strings. It's also a more light-attack focused weapon overall. Horde clear loops with H1 > L1, and you can mix in the Block attack as well since it's a relentless horizontal, and it leads into the aforementioned loop with an L1. For single target, just spam light attacks until you stab with your shield (L3), then follow up with a heavy attack (H2). You can also loop H2 (Mace overhead) > L3 (Shield Stab)

Flak > Maniac = Unyielding (If monstrosity hunter)
High Voltage > Confident Strike > Opportunist > Hammerblow > Offensive Defense

How do I make the shock maul + shield not suck? I saw someone make a thread on the forums about how this + Castigator is completely broken, with Lone Wolf. But I am not seeing anything really remarkable from the shield itself. Is it a desire to double dip with a weaker version of Break the Line? If that's the case though, I'm not sure how to make it effective against Crushers and Monstrosities.

I picked Fatalist originally because I wanted a "realist" cop character. Like they uphold the law despite knowing the said law is corrupt as fuck.
But the character doesn't much different from the Authoritarian or Maul.

Killing power is a little low but the fact that they don't get in the way at all, react relatively fast to tags, and basically keep whatever enemy you sic them on perma-stunned until they either die or you cave their skull in is bretty gud.

Shock mine buys a heinous amount of space in havoc, which in turn makes dogless very good for regenerating it. Currently climbing havocs again (36 atm) with a cop in the party, and it helped a ton with flamer & staff when extremely dense hordes start pushing us. Turns out the shield + mace is also very good overall, shit seems power crept to hell. Cuckspeaker is also pretty useful for regenerating back into gold toughness.
Dog is fucking broken in lower difficulties, but it feels like the class is well-balanced overall for the higher difficulties. Unsure about dog in havoc, haven't played with a dog there yet.

From Auric testing in the meat grinder, and 12% stamina regen on 3 curios, this talent on the shock maul with shield will let you entirely hold a single crusher without ever losing ~20% of your stamina. It also doubles the amount of time you can hold off 3 ragers attacking you at once. Yes, the stagger does afffect crushers.
You need zero block efficiency in your loadout at all to block Daemonhosts indefinitely.

Yes, it's no bubble, but the main reason you bring psyker is warpfire + psykinetic aura. You only really need bubble in modifiers that spam an obscene amount of bombers. Some of my most successful havoc runs were entirely without bubble.
