I would've liked to have seen Hien outmaneuver someone like Gaius instead of what we got in the end. Stormblood was only interesting when I could see the moving pieces of some grand strategy fall into place.

If you want to improve, not just at videogames but at anything, you only need the knowledge and the practice. For another tip for staying alive as any melee, I'll tell you to always be aware of your line of sight to the enemy. Whenever you can line of sight someone you are taking 100% less damage from them, and anytime all five enemy team members have line of sight of you is extremely dangerous. Play very close to walls. Duck in and out of corners between your weaponskill GCDs to cause enemy ranged's casts on you to fizzle. This even applies when you're on the crystal and pushing it; you don't need to be in the middle of the crystal, pick an edge close to a wall that doesn't let the enemy ranged hit you unless they come closer and put themselves at risk.

I really like the idea of being able to meet a high concentration of new players and teaching them.
Instead it just ends up with bad habits like doing roulettes on other DCs, or the worst one I always see on Dynamis is the constant PFs asking for unsynced MSQ. I've seen it on other DCs but almost every single time on Dynamis I see some ridiculous unsynced aetherochemical research facility or something. Which makes the actual roulette pops you could get, have some of the worst players I've ever seen.
Then there's the fact that none of these new players will have a home, because a lot of people make alts just to buy a dynamis house- and there's many wards that are completely filled with the same FC tag for subs.
If they want to fix it they should give actual incentives for people to transfer instead of 1mil gil or more exp. Making it so the EXP buff doesn't work in other DCs would help too. Something dumb like increased weekly cap.
