Just read my list of comps at >>528072423 and plan accordingly based on class advantage and card type. e.g. all your Arts Assassins together, all your Quick Lancers and Rider together, etc.

I usually used a 4* in a 4*/3*/3*/3*/2*/2* comp so that I only used 2 bronzes max per floor. Then I used 6x3* comps until I ran out. I finished everything several days ago even though I was only doing like 16 floors a day.

Veteran here (2904logins, lv156) finally did LB7 (I'll often sit on new singularities, lbs, etc until there's an event coming up that requires clearing, then pound thru in a couple days)

Were these raids "p2w" or... veteran2w? I got the same feeling about tower events, I dont have trouble because I got hella servants and CE purely on account of playing for so fucking long. But the same exhaustion shit in a STORY quest? I saw the little disclaimer about if u get stuck u can reset all the fights, but isn't that still effectively a softlock for a newer player who has been leaning on supports and consolidating resources into a handful of 5*s and relying on CS continues or something?

What did you guys think about the "raids"? It wasn't really a problem for me because I've been playing so fucking long and have passively accumulated such a massive roster (I did not use a single 5* for any of the gauge battles, until it was the final 3m fight one where everyone was available anyways) and just unga'd everything with kscope+mageassoc mystic code with rando 3/4*s that had class advantage (same shit i do for towers). Particularly interested in the experiences and opinions of newer players, did anyone get 'softlocked' and need to reset? did you feel like it was BS or unfair? Or was it *actually* tuned perfectly fine and doable as long as you pay attention to class advantage. I only have my own perspective, and by my own perspective and with my own arsenal, they could have added a third or fourth raid and I'd have been fine but I know I have a ton of shit because of how long I've been playing, but the whole thing just felt a little "unreasonable" for a story quest. Or am I completely off base here?

That said, was cute to have olga back in LB7, and despite her not being very good in most of the fights she was forced support in, she wasn't as gratingly bad as sashi in shinjuku was. Also jesus christ sitonai and jalter made an absolute mockery of every single "gimmicky" bossfight

ok that's cool, good to know, It really did feel "iffy" as to if it was p2w vs appropriately balanced for newbros because I literally do not have the perspective or even what I could consider an appropriate estimate of what the "new player experience" is because I've just been playing forever and have tons of shit lying around on account of passive accumulation; but I DID have some suspicions that it may have been reasonably balanced for thematic tension but doable if you're not being full blown retarded with class matchups, but idk, because as mentioned, and I'm pretty sure as true for players with a similar login count as mine who don't veteran 99% of the time, they'd probably have been perfectly fine with ten raid waves or something

yeah, I do gotta stop veteraning (as hard) and do dailies and shit more often. Really the new content if anything is a good motivator to do so. When I started playing this game, I *did* play a lot, but much like most reasonably balanced long-lasting live-service games (e.g. ones that don't abruptly shut down, as well as ones that aren't flagrant p2w/fomo/powercreep) at some point you just kinda hit a power plateau that's "good enough" and can kinda coast on it nearly indefinitely, so long as you *occasionally* pick up some new meta chars (merlins, skadis, castorias, etc...) and get some spooks and randos along the way while pulling event CE, and pretty consistently be able to grab any random waifu you actually want AND max/10/10/10 etc... on the spot because you have a gorillion sq, mats and lores lying around despite mostly veteraning dailies but making it a point to clear every single event

If there's some new shit to work towards, that's good incentive, because I honestly can't be bothered to farm qp or embers or mats or whatever because I have so fucking much sitting around from just... logging in and doing events
