Hello, I'm ID 412370745 again. I asked for some help a couple of weeks ago with expiring picrasma, the psychube selector, and more. I have more questions if nobody minds, sorry for the walls of text:

I had settled on Bkornblume, Jessica, and Rabies to clear up content; then I exchanged the latter with Recoleta / Yenisei (if healing needed); now I use Aleph, the twins, and Yenisei for challenging stuff after they reduced Pneuma VII from 11 rounds to 5. Aleph is i3 Lv30 R10 with his Psychube Lv 60, twins at i2 Lv50 R10, and Yeni i3 Lv30 R1 (everyone else is at R1 besides Blumy, who is R3). My other characters not in the pic:

Where do I go from here? I feel I'm spreading my resources thin because I don't know what units I should enhance. I like Impromptu and think it makes gameplay more fun, so ideally I'd like to stick to that. Should I prioritize getting Voyager to i3 and then Euphoria once I unlock that mode? Should I try to pull for Kiperina? If I do and don't get her, should I try to advance Matilda? What should my next group be based on the units I already have?

Which Psychubes should I buy based on Q1? Pic related has my inventory. Through reading the threads it seems that the guide doesn't apply due to free ones superseding older ones (e.g. some anons have said not to buy Inquisitive Dear or Blasphemer of the Night), so I'm at a bit of a loss. I leveled up J's because I want a J team (with Babel, Isolde, and Eternity). I was thinking of buying Balance Please for the twins next, but then I realized I could just ask for advice here. Should I get Barcarola's first for Voyager? If not, what should I buy first?

I use flutterpage for everything. The thing is, even if she was much weaker, i would still use her. Unlocking a fifth AP makes the game more fun and interesting and i can more easily learn how to rotate and play.

if you like impromptu i'd definitely recommend pulling for kiperina since shes super strong, if your worried about resource costs for unlocking+levelling voyager's euphoria theres a free item they hand out in 2.7 for free along with the 6* selector that lets you unlock+max out a characters euphoria in 1 go

i'd avoid levelling psychubes if you dont have that specific 6* since outside of being a stat-stick its not gonna be useful for other characters except in specific situations. Barcarola's is a easy choice because it works on ANY star character that spends eureka so you can use it on barcarola/windsong/voyager/matilda/37

When I started with the critter stuff, the NewBabel Trading Center's tutorial showed you can get a 200% purchase order, but since then, despite being at Operations Goals 12 of 14 and easily re-rolling the orders dozens of times each day to get the best deals, I have never seen another one. Is it bugged? Has anyone seen another 200% order again?

Finally, someone suggested I wait until I finish the 3rd chapter to start Artificial Somnambulism, and that got me to discuss with her the nature of what the proper way to do the content for a new player is, if consistency of story is the goal. Within this context I find important to remind you that new players are gated from Reflections and Anecdotes due to Penumbra Cans. We start we 3 IIRC, then we get 1 per week (and only if you finish all the tasks).

When I did the 2.5, Liang, Noire, and An's stories, I felt out of place and kept asking questions to myself about the lore ("What happened to The Storm? Did they stop it from happening? Did everything settle down? What era is this? Are things peaceful now? Why are loose critters a priority?" etc.), and felt similarly with Recoleta's and Bette's. I haven't started Aleph's or Rayashki's yet, but at this point I'm wondering if I should seek out the release order of all the content so I can plan my experience as sequentially as possible, and just skip (as in with the Skip Button) all the current content so I don't get spoiled (so to speak) and then either do it later when it returns, or watch it on youtube when reaching the appropriate part of the story.

What do you all think? Is this a sensible approach if you care about the story first and foremost? (I do)

4) main thing i'd suggest is continuing main story since that unlocks more stuff as you progress then going back to leveling up your characters. events like rayashiki doesnt have a direct bearing on main story but characters in it show up again in 2.7

To answer 4.
The story is non-linear in its delivery so sometimes they may be before the prologue (like rayashki) or anywhere between the current main story.
The 'peaceful' aspect you describe is the method that the foundation employs when dealing with the "outside world" (I think its explained in chapter 6). Most of the characters like Liang for example, aren't informed about the storm (at least currently in the story's progression) and what it does (basically what the flashback scenes showed in chapter 3, when the SPDM students inquired about the storm).
If the so-called future workers of the foundation are kept in the dark about it, then regular citizens (which are most summonable characters) assume life is chiper in their respective era

I like how its been 2 years and we still dont know how the storm actually works, especially reversing. Or does that change in 2.8?

These are kinda inaccurate. R1999 would only count simply because what you "need" to clear isn't hard and that there's active efforts in making old units viable. Limbus can be cleared with literal base units if you're insane but newer units are definitely much stronger than older ones. Also I've not played HSR for like a year now but my Seele couldn't clear the latest shit and Bronya was struggling to be relevant.

They are barely involved with the plot other than le grand overarching plot< that only the writers know and care about. By the time you get to know about all that shit, you won't care about it, since they were handwaved into multiple stories with some weak justification, because the writers doesnt want the reader to understand any single thing about the manus until le grand reveal

The real issue here is that their goals are just nebulous. We can speculate its to turn time back to when Arcanists ruled but it remains to be like that, an assumption. Arcana unironically has to grab the camera and tell us straight up what she's really trying to do.

No real place for the gimmick (which wasn't that amazing to begin with), low damage, ult spam has much better options right now. He was okay on his debut but that debut was almost 2 years ago. Essentially DoA. ATM Shamane's best use is shredding both resistances with one skill, but it's never something you're gonna need. His moxie battery function is clunky and pointless when you have both Melania and Moldir in the team (and you DO want to have both Melania and Moldir in the team).

That won't do much, the problem remains the same, he's catering to both Reality and Mental teams and simultaneously not being the best. Bkorn still competed with him for Reality as it's really not that strong while you can excuse him in Mental teams since there's no real options for it (Babyblue is not that good for it). Unless you give it a ridiculous amount like say -50% and then add a +10% minus modifier per ultimate hit, then maybe but that's too cracked.

His set relies on his array being active all the time but it's hard for him to do that because he has no way to automatically gain moxie and you don't really want to use his skills because his S1 deal shitty damage and his S2 only does something the first time you cast it

EN Voice acting industry as a whole is fucked. Not even just American and not even just because of that whole SAG-AFTRA shitshow, most of it were grifter lies anyway, but because somehow the west just culturally detests doing dubbing. US/CA/UK/AU/NZ voice actors aren't nearly as respected as some in LatAm, Europe or Japan. Most think that voice acting can be a stopgap in their journey to Hollywood. That and generally infantile attitude to weebshit results in lower effort dubbing for anime, jrpgs, gachas and everything else. Shitty anime dubbing memes aren't memes without a reason. Can you name 10 modern western VAs? Maybe you can if you're into that as a whole, but most people aren't. Unless it's the big shots like, idk, Patrick Seitz or Tara Strong. Or Mark Hamill at least. Alright time for spoilers, I liked the ending but this chapter is an even bigger nothingburger than chapter 9 was which leaves me pretty disappointed, i'm sure Reddit will love it though, they couldn't have picked a better time to write a story about the horror of wars than when the actual real world is having like 3 different wars going on

How the tables have turned! Lopera wishes she could have a 'detection Ult' where instead of refreshing the Array with her easy Moxie gain, she goes machine gun like Getian (and becomes Bullet team DPS herself).

Recoleta, Buddy Fairchild and Shamane will nuke harder. His boyfriend Name Day will basically become consistent +AP (for Ult Spam) due to all the moxie gains from every Ult (Admonition). Still waiting for A Knight Euphoria but it'll probably be Ult Spam archetype either trigger on enemy death like Lucy FUA or Riposte Ult like Moldir in 2.8

The Euphoria also takes into account his portrays (which is neat as 1.6 dupe effects aren't as busted as today's standards; it's now comparable to 37 who is quite "future-proof" for an old unit) and also indirectly buffs his signature Psychube. Before it was specialized where only mass Channel could use Same Old Story (White Rum, Anjo Nala, Flutterpage) so you would probably instead invest in Lopera's (Array user) psychube or Blasphemer of the Night to save resources since those have more users. Now it's his BiS for cranking up Admonition dmg even higher!

ALSO. Her Second Life psychube finally meta (in theory)!? When Hissabeth came out, I was wondering if they'd ever release another character who gets technical Ults every round but mass target instead. And now we finally have one in Getian! Vila equivalent value, I3 free heals aren't as potent these days with enemies dealing higher dmg, but it's still cool to have another offensive healer besides Druvis [Circle of Life], Kakania, Lopera, and Fatutu, especially since it's granted through a (cool interaction) niche psychube and not his actual kit.

Really funny how just like Semmelweis Euphoria, they are turning the support character into DPS as well. I can't think of any other gacha that would do this when revamping old units. Like I read Hyacine (HSR) does a lot of dmg on her Ult for being a healer but that's just due to powercreep (so like Fatutu compared to Tooth Fairy).
