Speaking of which I read the comic pages where the fight happens and this fight feels rather humiliating. At least with Surge it was a cheap shot, but it was a unique alternative wincon for her to win. Here its just bashing Metal with a motorcycle. Barely any Batman gadgets or any use of his intelligence to fight Metal off in any unique way. With that being said, Flynn needs to drop Metal Sonic in its entirely. Blaze's lore in rush is not about her only, it's about all the cosmic mythical shit behind Sonic himself as well.

The truth is both Silver and Blaze don't really work very well as Sonic characters and have very niche and limited uses. Silver in particular is a very uninspired character that doesn't work outside the context of his debut game. Blaze I feel can be used sparingly since she's more interesting. Ultimately they're both attempts to recreate Shadow in some capacity and both fall short.

The problem is, he doesn't lose with style. You basically summed it up quite well. In most of these recent cases he's been thrown like a wet paper towel. I think it's the first. I once wrote a story where Amy gets into a coma and the doctors said they had to disconnect her and Sonic lost his shit and tried to protect her dornant body from everyone including Tails.

Not even a Sonazegod, but the idea of Sonic having (really good) sex with Blaze, Rouge, or Tangle, Amy knowing or seeing this, and still telling herself "no that's just surface level lust he just really loves me, I'll save myself for him"... it's just hilarious. THAT'S the appeal of Cuck Amy to me. Her eventual suicide is incredibly funny to think about too.
