Only the S2 and Counter will force her retreat. The standard S3 doesn't force a retreat at all but if you have no Heishu on the field you'll get an ability to summon them all at once.
On the other hand, you can always summon Faust with the counter, and she gets summoned on the s2 as well. So it's more like getting her every other turn and the skills that summon them basically act like their S3's with worse clashing/damage.
Other than that, his Shin mechanic makes his basic skills do increased crit damage (doesn't affect unbreakables) and his s2 has rupture count and attack weight, so he's perfectly good on a team with no heishu.

He had it represented by infinite shields. Every mechanic he has on this version is built in through a skill or passive he had (or sanity effect).
The only thing "unique" here is that he does anything with the Si Pack and that he has poise. I went with Poise because they gave Zilu poise for some reason (represent Shin/Mang?) and it helps synergize him with Xichun/the si pack and Faust. Otherwise Shin here is just built to scale off critting like Lei Heng's scaled off speed.

If they keep the numbers the same as the boss fight. Bladestorm and head me Zilu/fFaust should be count neutral at worst. Since his speed is too low to trigger Deathrite[haste] he'll be count negative for his unenhanced s1 2 and 3 yea. He's mostly an ID that wants to capitalize on deathrites by bringing multiple to 0 with his counter, thus causing each one to trigger Rupture multiple times even if you only had one count remaining. So you're mostly meant to use his s2/counter and maybe his s1 if you want more deathries, the S3 is only for when the target has lots of count/potency and you want to cash in or if you want to summon all the packs.

All I know is that it will be in the power range of Lei Heng and Zilu. That it will probably (unless they drop it) have retreat mechanics, and will be a rupture unit specialized in Deathrites.

Whether they invent a special deathrite for him, use the deathrites that Jia Qiu had (I think they'll make player variants) or what have you, that's hard to predict what the final product will look like.

Bloodfiends are fun when you only field Bloodfiends. They become less fun to use the more humans you include.
Kurukumo are really fun to use now that you're encouraged to treat everyone except Heathcliff and Ishmael as expendable.

Firefist Gregor and Capo Thumbsault are extremely flashy and fun IDs to use.
Fullstop Heathcliff and Hong Lu are just extremely well built and complementary IDs that just work. They're really satisfying to use not just because they're OP.


I really really, don't care for Rupture or Tremor IDs at all. Sinking is just good but only Erlking does something more than winrate. So it really feels like they're missing something.


If I had to choose one, it has to be my man Firefist. There is nothing more satisfying then rolling 3 heads with that S3.
