Alterac Valley was definitely a bit easier for alliance I guess. Loved the fights on that bridge into the alliance base. Meanwhile people just climb up the fucking waterfall behind the horde base lel. Alliance also tended to have more druids since more people were willing to play NE for it than tauren. Made capturing the flag a little easier for them overall maybe.

The fact that some classes get absurd abilities from wotlk, while most classes feel largely unchanged from their vanilla and/or tbc state. Most of the TBC changes had to be heavily nerfed to keep characters in line with Vanilla power levels. But then they give warrior bladestorm which means they are going to be busted as shit in pvp. They also gave prot devastate which kills the identity of dual wield tanking completely which was arguably one of the funnest reasons to play warrior in the current vanilla meta. A lot of their class changes seem haphazard. You'd think warlock would be good because of TBC stuff, but they got heavily heavily nerfed. Rogue feels like they just got their TBC kit slapped onto them with Wotlk QoL like energy regen and swapping combo points which doesn't feel very vanilla+. Mage gets a legion legendary baked into their talent tree, but it's worthless because fire mage doesn't play hardcasting pyroblasts. Mage conjuring weapons on the other hand is cool and feels very vanilla+ like a lot of the new spells on turtle, but that's basically the only thing in the class design that I actually like and I wish there was more flavorful stuff like that.

Unpopular opinion but I wish they just had undead / Orc deathknights instead of undead paladins for epoch. To ask another question also, why do so many people hate deathknights?
