Sure, but better cards both increase your run consistency unless you're using an absolutely cursed deck to reduce one RNG layer, while also increasing your absolute ceiling.
That RNG layer reduction takes a lot of the burden off while waiting for inheritance to proc and skill events to actually complete.

Those two are still super useful in FGO after all these years. Thing is with uma, support card gets powercrept frequently, even more so these days. And since Global is accelerated, the powercreep is faster. If you're F2P, just forget about it. Reroll a couple of times, but the end of the day, don't expect those meta cards will be worth shit since you haven't 3 or Max LB it.
