I just beat Shadows of the Erdtree. Am I crazy to think that Miquella isn’t dead? The remembrance specifically says “ Remembrance of Radahn, consort of Miquella, hewn into the Scadutree” and if I’m understanding it right Miquella actually did become a god. My interpretation is that he became a god but was stopped from spreading his order over the world, like when the blue swordsman stopped the goddess of rot. Miquella may not be unkillable now but he’s like the outer gods, he forsook his body and became something…,else.

If you want it to be fast then just don't charge it? It's still a regular guard counter and one of the fastter ones. Only charge it if you know you have a big window or need the extra reach for it to hit. Guardian's got problems but this ain't one of 'em.

Shards recover a % of FP.
The store relic gives Recluse a 50%+ bigger FP bar just from doing her usual staff + rise collecting routine.
This means Recluse doesn't even need shards outside of extreme cases.

The "God" of an order is something completely different from the the outer gods. A "god" like Miquella is basically just a mortal with cool powers while outer gods are higher beings entirely.

But regarding Miquella being alive, possibly. His soul was tethered to Radahn, and with him gone it's possible he's still alive but free-floating.
I can imagine it being Sauron-type situation where it's impossible to kill him but after all the mutilation he did to himself he's kind of fucked now that his vessel is gone.

You rarely see revenants because that's the character women pick. And most women hate souls games

I don’t really think that’s right for Miquella. Miquella wasn’t a vessel for the Greater Will like Marika, he purged everything to ascend alone. I don’t think he is as powerful as the Greater Will assuming it’s still alive but he’s not a vessel for it or another entity either. Outer gods are not that invincible on the Lands Between-Miquella himself could create unalloyed gold that locks them out and we know the rot goddess was defeated

I think he’s locked out of the world without a window into it, like the outer gods we see in the game. Or trapped wherever it is you go when you cross the gate of divinity.

You're thinking with a FPlet brain, which I don't blame you for.
The giant FP bar doesn't just allow Recluse to spam pebble forever, it allows her to save shards for things like Azur/Meteorite nuking without depending on unlimited FP flasks, or just to chaincast Comet which can be too costly even with shards.
It's the difference between being a level 150 mage and a level 700 one in base Elden Ring.

You take any wraith calling bell relic and spam it all game.
Then you get the libra relic and the gaol+stonesword relic. Alternatively you can get a starshard start relic and/or +magic but I feel like the 4+ star shards that are guaranteed are enough.

Your gameplan is DING DING DING DING DINGing until it is done.
During night bosses you blow your load and then do chinese cultivation ritual to regain FP.
For nightlords you simply glug all of your pent up star shards to continue blasting.

Took me from 10% winrate to beating both uber bosses first try with 0 skill involved.

1 slot, her class relics are mostly underwhelming. Even without added affinity they're still one of the best weapons you can get on her. Nearly any other weapon is worse on her in terms of melee. Claws + 1 decent seal is all she needs and you can fill the rest with passives

It does matter for lore. The translations often get rid of important context. It was really bad in Bloodborne where a lot of stuff like what vile bloods are got totally lose. If the Greater Will is just an outer gods it would be referred to in the same way as they are but it’s not

the opening phase is literally harder, i've noticed the exact opposite pattern as with adel. with adel, random teams' dps would just crater after tornado assuming they even know how to dodge it - with fulghor i'm having a lot of pickups in the first half but then we just chunk him to death in the new phase.

IF i'm targeted by it, i wait for him to assume firing position, then i unlock and sprint perpendicular to his firing line, and use a wylder grappling hook jump shot. once he assumes firing position, he no longer tracks you with the arrow shot (think of it like artillery), so you can very easily get out of range.

you might be able to run straight at him and avoid the aoe by being underneath/behind firing position, but i havent tried it.

(similar strategy works when you're fighting ancient dragon btw. when he stands up to toss lightning spears at his feet, you can unlock and just spring towards his tail; it's then easy to dodge roll the lightning waves or even better just position behind is foot where they dont go.)
