kaneki is one of the best killers in the game apparentley. vecna is very strong now after the buff. chucky is my favorite killer to play but he has no map traversal outside of extreme memes with chaining scampers on lerys or stuff. I don't enjoy houndmaster because she feels weirdly like this cross between deathslinger and wesker which I don't like. for perks, vecna has that item on the ground one which is so annoying to play against.

Came back to the game after not playing since anni7, did my Knight, the nightfall fella (already forgot his name), Blight and Artist adepts. Only Artist needed more than 1 match (got it in two), everyone else I oneshot.
Blight is really hard to play, good thing I went into a custom to try him out instead of rawdogging him in a public match right out of the gate.
Anyway, I held 3 gens like a dog and slugged for the 4k and didn't get called a slur even once in post-game. Did people mellow out?

Dredge, Unknown, Xenomorph, Singularity, probably more, all get penalties for trying to use their powers to travel to a hooked survivor in some form. For example, Xenonorph emerges slower frrom tunnels, and Unknowns illusions within a certain radius are destroyed upon hooking a survivor and can't be created anymore nearby.
Some killers can't use their powers near a hooked survivor. Twins and Artist come to mind are who I remember.
But then some killers, who are much more effective at punishing unhookers and the recently unhooked than Twins or Artist in this regard, CAN use their powers near the hook, like Bubba, Trickster and Trapper.
Then there are some killers who are freely allowed to teleport right back to hooked survivors with no penalty, such as Hag, Springtrap, Dracula, Sadako, Demogorgon, maybe more I can't remember.
It all feels completely arbitrary.

I knew this cunt was going to be a problem when they said it was the same designer as Dracula. Killers shouldn't have the powers of 5 other killers rolled into one. Behavior cant even manage a killer like Wesker having 1 fucking power without it being buggy as fuck one way or the other and now we got someone who's better Huntress, Dredge and Sadako combined into 1. I'm glad I learned about the muted ambience thing when Springtrap is travelling through doors because I never would have noticed it, but now that I know it, it's so easy to hear. You could hide behind something as soon as you notice it to be super safe and defensive. I feel like it's a bug and not intended, but because the it's hard to notice to begin with and nobody knows about, it will never be fixed if it is a bug.

Apparently all this guy can do is give a killer twice as many abilities as they should have instead of design something with actual interaction.

You could have removed Unknown's illusions too, and easily it just takes a couple of seconds. And unlike with Hag traps you can plainly see them and wouldn't have to crouch walk all the way up to them. Yeah I agree, the only point I'm making is that there's so much inconsistency but I think I'm preaching to the choir. Basically I wish all killers, if practically possible, should have penalties and similar stuff around hooked survivors. Bubba shouldn't be able to use his chainsaw, Hags traps should get the same treatment as the Unknown's illusions, Trickster should be unable to throw blades, I even think Trapper trap's should all snap shut in a small radius when a survivor is hooked without the ability to reset them while the hooked survivor remains, for consistency, I know he doesn't have much going for him but his effective strategies (like basement Trapper) are dogshit to play against and he really needs an overhaul in general.
All of this is to say that more and more should be done to make it so that killers just leave hooked survivors alone.

This game is not balanced around killers that can not get injures with their power. Gens are too fast for the killer to exist in this state. It is unreal that Kaneki gets a hitscan insta injure within a 5 mile radius (which I don't even think is op DESU) but unknown has to land 3-4 consecutive situational skillshots within tight timing to down someone. Again he can be satisfying but he's satisfying because his power is cruel and punishing and the nice quick hits are scarce amd that shit can't compete in a meta of extreme survivor efficiency.

I had a game earlier where whenever the Unknown missed his shot, he just stood completely still on the other side of the loop and so did I, staring at him, until he could use his power again. It was extremely cynical. I tried playing the anniversary event for the first time and I've got to say it's complete ass as a solo q player. Getting stomped left and right by killers does not make for a fun experience. I'm not playing that shit unless they make it a 5x bp boost and normal queue is clogged up to hell for some reason. I only like the cakes. If any killers want to pub stomp, that's the ideal mode for them to play. Not me though. I'm not here to provide the killers with a "experience". There's not even a basekit unbreakable which was being demonized before the event even dropped..I'm staying in normal queue for now until the next event drops..

So the moment I finish the Twisted Masquerade quests there's no further benefit to playing that mode right?
