I'm having trouble with Re;Birth 3 AGAIN, this time getting it to run well on a ROG Ally. Everything seems fine until I go into a dungeon, then it drops to 30fps. In a way, this was kept with Black Heart, even in recent games it's still a thing. She's always been pretty vicious. Noire's the soft counter part to Black Heart, and that's where they differ. I actually hate it when people say Noire doesn't change much during transformation because they're missing the intricacies of her character.

I just started up Re;Birth 1 and went into Virtua Forest to compare. Solid ~60fps in Performance Mode with no tweaking of settings. Once again, this seems to be a Re;Birth 3-specific issue. I updated my drivers via Armoury Crate's Update Center. No difference. Re;Birth 3 does not seem to be using the GPU properly. The overlay says it's hitting 2500-2600mhz in dungeons while in Re;Birth 1 it stays stable at 800mhz.

I believe I've discovered the source of the issue; the Neptastic mod. I deleted it and started the game up again and it runs at solid 60fps in Performance Mode. I don't know why Neptastic made the game run so poorly when it was recommended to me to boost performance and prevent crashes. Did I have the settings configured wrong? Or does it have compatibility issues with the Ally or AMD in general? It has a setting for VSync in it, which is an NVIDIA setting, which tells me it's made with NVIDIA cards in mind.

Why is this mf constantly copypasting posts from Steam forums. Is your IQ so low that you can't even get a game that has been out for 10 years to run correctly. You know they made consoles for people like you right? Just get a Vita or something

Well it doesn't run great on my Ally, either. Intro fight is chogging at like 47 FPS. Some kind of optimization issue. The first dungeon doesn't get below 50FPS but it's still strange. RB3 was the game where I had issues with it way back when, too. After playing a while, it started to leak memory to where the Live2D models became black pixelated messes and ultimately disappeared before the game crashed.

Would not be surprised; these ports are just barely functional as-is, typical of IFI's budget. It's not unplayable and it's good enough, but still, games this old, using such an old API, slogging on hardware this new? Only IFI's shitty PC ports can do that.
