Slowly built it up and keep meeting aggro/midrange decks so I increased my control. Roach is so fun. My biggest regret in sv1 was not touching forest for roach since I vialed everything for dragon shadow and blood. I lost a lot in the beginning but now I'm hitting for 18+ dmg on turn 8 through wards. I still misplay every now and then but it's still fun.

The people with 15k gold saved aren't people who finished the set and waited, they're people who opted out early to hold resources. The average player has about 20 total legends spread out randomly right now in a set with 23 types of legends and is missing a good number of golds.

Anyone who started day 1 or rerolled to beat the curve is probably fine right now with all the freebies honestly but on average, the ability for a free player to keep up with future sets is going to depend a lot on hand outs at the moment. Honestly likely everyone in this general right now is more or less fine on their account if they weren't a greedy fuck that's trying to hard craft an expensive deck with no way in, and I can even sympathize with that a little since there might just be a deck they really wanted to play they didn't pull towards.

But there's an objective issue with catering a game's economy towards gibs. Like if you take a long break or if new players suddenly take interest in the game because of some expansion promotion, they could easily end up way more fucked than the we thoughht we were on day 1. I like the game but I think all the criticism about the model are warranted, from here on out, very few accounts are going to be able to build the vial nest that we're able to having started day 1. Any account that started late isn't opening ten chests with us tomorrow.

It's ridiculous to begin with that the optimal strategy to build a new deck when the next set comes out, mathematically, is going to be continuing to open the first set because the vial rates are far better than individual legend pull rates.

Storm Haven can work, but is inconsistent. If you don't draw the bird amulets on time you won't do enough face damage for your Bigbirb to matter. If you want to tinker with that deck, I suggest finding ways to sneak through early damage and try to play small bird on 4 and medium bird on 6 so they both unstone on your Jeanne turn. Control Haven is extremely consistent but simply does not work at high rank since it auto-loses to the meta decks up there. You will not beat Satan. You WILL die to Orchis and friends. You cannot beat elf when they realize that your deck has no pressure and they can wait until turn 10 to combo. Don't bother trying. You can get lucky farming face dragons on your way up but you need a different plan above Ruby.

Playing Haven is hard mode. Your deck can compete but you have to play well. You have to know how your opponent's deck work to predict when to drop wards to slow their finisher, and when to heal to stay out of OTKO range. For all that you get slightly worse results as heads empty board full sword, or haha I just cast all my spells Rune. That said, the games are fun to play in that there are many decisions to be made, even when most of them don't matter in the end. At least you made your opponent sit through 15 minutes waowing with you.

this game attracts a LOT of poors from SEA due to the art style. they are the ones absolutely seething because they can't afford a single pack.

When you take into account the following:

>Daily missions
>Park missions
>Guild rewards
>Events

this game isn't any worse than other CCGs like Hearrthstone, MTGA or Marvel Snap. In fact, this game is almost certain to end up being more generous than all of those.

You have to spend a hell of a lot more money to keep up in MTGA than you will in SV2 i'll tell you that right now.

In this game if you buy the BP + 1500 crystals a month so you can buy the daily 50c pack you will have no problems creating a meta deck and a variation of it or two every set. that comes out to around $35 after tax (in the US). I think that's pretty cheap for this type of game. Going out on the weekend or going to a decent restaurant can easily cost you that much or much more.

F2P will have to be more careful about what they invest in and know when to save and you probably won't get the perfect deck you want (unless you luckgod it) nor any variations.

Anon there's a 1.5% legendary rate per card. You pull 8 cards. There're some more complications to how the number is calculated that we don't have to get into but the basic extrapolation is that it takes about 8 packs on average per legendary. The average account has pulled maybe a little over 100 packs at this point, meaning it has about 13 legendaries from raw pulls. We've gotten, I believe, 5 legendary packs now, then you can easily have a couple more from park chests, daily packs, and the starter set.

We understand the numbers, the first thing a lot of gacha players and card game players do with every new release is to figure out the average expected values in any given game. Some accounts get lucky, some accounts get fucked, but on average our ability to keep up is entirely dependent on the gibs they've been handing out. It's fine, individually, most of /svg/ is probably in a decent spot going forward. But this doesn't change the fact of the matter and people are complaining because they like the fucking game and don't want it to die in a year after regular player bleed out occurs and the entry cost is prohibitive to new players.

It wasn't just that the set was imbalanced. It's that because the centralizing power was in neutrals, the next like four tiers of decks after tier 0 were all basically the same deck. And the playstyle in question was extremely difficult to interact with, made for a terrible mirror, and was super linear. They basically got everything wrong on the gameplay end there when it might've been fine if they just released a broken ass tier 0 deck but it was at least fun in the mirror.

But then after that they released a large series of nerfs and none of them managed to fix the meta which absolutely destroyed player trust. A lot of people are willing to put up with a bad meta in a card game if they expect it to get better but at some point Cygames had basically made it clear to the playerbase that they didn't know how to handle the situation.

ram the specific puppet you want to reanimate into a dude and then super evo before you ram the other one into anything. Granted you do need the board space, though. And it only works for the first cerb.

It's hard to say because of how the system works. I've barely contributed anything to my guild because I only play ranked until I'm done my dailies, which meant I was in Emerald and Topaz for a while.
But now that we have the chests event I'm forced to play more and I've also reached Sapphire so from here on out I'll be generating a lot more score for my guild every day.
It really shouldn't be that hard since you contribute roughly 1/100th of your ranked points to your guild.
