I playtested Intimacy a bit. I don't have steam, so I will report here.
Pic - rare case when one pawn steal partner mid lovin'. It looks funny when the beds are next to each other.
Another funny thing is that when pawns choose a place to lovin', they always lovin' on the right on a double bed. This means that if a pawn normally occupies the left part and someone sleeps on the right, they will lovin' right on top of the sleeping pawn.
Pawns can go lovin' in the middle of a ritual, but they stop when the ritual stage changes and just stand there. Sometimes they make it, sometimes they don't. Depends on how far away the bed is. I don't really like the idea of blocking lovin' during rituals, because some pawns rarely meet each other and rituals help bring everyone together.
Another thing (bug?) is that I have never seen kind words from a kind pawn for three years. Maybe the lovin' dialogue somehow blocks this interaction, but I'm not sure.
btw, now that lovin' is possible without a bed, this is the PERFECT opportunity to make an intimacy addon with a GAY BOMB!

The bomb starts same sex lovin' between all pawns in the antigrain warhead radius. After lovin', they either have a mental break or get the gay trait.

The recent announcement made me lose a little interest in playing my 1.6 run.
I used the new draw tool a bit. Aesthetically pleasing but inefficient in my hands. I really notice the absence of pick up and haul. The lack of allow tool is annoying but not a huge issue.
I STILL cant get the skullspikes precept to show up. I could build em if I could rip skulls out. Dev or earned reform be dammed

Well, cataphract pawns with persona weapons are very good. If they have tough trait is even better since it heavily reduces the chance of an unlucky instant kill.
The big problem are the mass shambler attack, they like to destroy the base so you have to endure this for 6 to 10 hours.
It's not optimal, but it's not impossible. You also need to make a lot of limbs and organs because injuries are going to be very frequent. Transhumanist is also a good ideology since it will heal those annoying scars in the torso.
The ancient danger cryptocasket saw a lot of use in that run since I stored the unlucky pawns who died in combat inside until I found a resurrector serum.
Alternatively, I don't know why I dind't think of it, slave meatshield is a good idea too. Give them shieldbelts and have them act as human shield, you can even give them some melee weapons.

Just realized, I've got a bunch of mods installed that are updated to 1.6 but wont work in Odyssey just because of the nature of them.
Dubs Bad Hygiene is an example. It needs you to pump water out of the ground, and there is no ground in space and I'm guessing asteroid bases wont have underground water either. Rimefeller is another one that requires a ground to work. The Hospitality mods aren't going to work well in space either (and have been abandoned now so wont be updated anymore anyway).
Damn, adding space travel, as limited as it is will totally fuck with a bunch of mods even if they technically have 1.6 support. Some just mean you will miss out on features (but suffer the lag from them) while others like bad hygiene will fuck you over if you use them.

The bugs set off pretty much every single trap I had.

The shells fired from it really don't explode like I expect either so it may actually be a mod conflict causing its fired shells to behave like vanilla instead of the fragmentation spewing CE shells I see fired from regular stationary mortars. Likewise it might be the same reason its effective range is so short, despite its actual firing range being like 4 times the distance. Also the M125's description says it carries a 120mm mortar but it's only capable of firing 81mm shells.
It's a shame because all the other tanks I have do not have this problem at all. Like if anything gets hit by the M1's main gun, pretty much anything short of a centipede is fucking dead 10 times over.

Tanks overwhelmed the mechs again, though the M1 is badly damaged. The M48 came in clutch with its 105mm gun. Thought it was kinda weak with how brittle it is but that gun can fuck up a centipede as much as the M1 can.
The Bradley's TOW missiles are handy too.

Currently getting the bug where faction generation throws a reference not set error and causes the world to generate with only a handful of factions and settlements and the rest missing, and the log has no helpful information, meaning I'm gonna have to troubleshoot by just trying to disable batches of mods until I find the cause, before I go at it blindly anyone know offhand of any particular mods or incompatibilities that cause this problem?

I found this old mod called "Yuran Hentai Prime", seems to be an abandoned gook coomer mod. It also need this mod called "Apparel BodyType Resolver"
I don't know what exactly I need to configure for its table or what it even does, because I'm constantly getting random texture errors so
I looked into the clothing xml the mod had YuranRaceMod/Defs/ThingDef_Apparel/AP.xml) and it was missing commonality/generation chance, as well as gender restriction tags , which was causing all raiders to wear the tentacle armor regardless of gender so I added those and the raiders stopped causing errors. There are still a few more I can't find and wish someone could fix emm
