This has been the most grueling year for climbing I've ever had.
At no point have I had an LP gain/loss ratio of greater than 1:1. My winrate has always been >50%, but at the very best I've gotten +25/-25. As soon as I lose 2 games in a row it goes to +24/-26, and any more than that and it plummets.
I've climbed from fucking iron to plat, and for a solid chunk of that I was getting +18/-32. Even if I'm on a 10 game winstreak, getting 3 losses in a row is basically a guaranteed demotion. Over the course of 20 games I won 8 and lost 12, and that was enough to drop me from Plat3 to motherfucking Gold2. Meanwhile, I play against guys who have comfortably maintained emerald with a 35% winrate.
This is fucking torture.
