Double skill is only good as a defensive tool since it has no practical offensive applications, it's not worth it as long as you're even semi-confident in your ability to roll. That's if that situation even comes up, since some bosses are so slow or rely on actually getting to you that allow you to just troll them with one use, like the tree sentinels.

I'm trying my best to collect viable relics for it, but i think 2h will out-dps dual wield when stacking 3x Improved Initial Standard Attack and spamming just the initial R1.
That effect stacks and is multiplicative and comes out to 44% more damage on first R1 with 3 of them.
God forbid you ever get Radahn's Swords, you'll likely be initial R1'ing for 1200+ damage.

The hp loss is good if you want to proc low hp stuff

Shifting Earth events are way too harmful when solo, you are basically forced to rush it as soon as day 2 begins missing out on the castle etc.
I end up at level 10-11 when I have shifting earth and always 14-15 without it

after playing executor for a while I think I can say he's my least favorite nightfarer to use, I've only mained duchess and raider so far but I feel like those two have more options and adaptability than executor
combined with the fact that the unsheathe parry is two inputs he just feels sluggish to use, I'm more comfortable swiftly dodging stuff with duchess

Once the nightlord builds resistance, his damage tapers off significantly, and he doesn't have Wylder's grapple to gap close without spending stamina, the raw damage of raider, or the FP of duchess to spam skills to keep up

Just build for crits and guard counters then.
Also try to grab daggers since they deal extra crit damage and Executor has the highest DEX in the game.
You can check which weapons have a higher crit modifer than average in the training area, but Misericorde is the highest of all weapons, and because it has S in DEX it deals the most damage on Executor.

After playing everything, my favourite characters from most to least:

1. revenant - I like the management of my pet zoo, nimble, fast and funny character, the variety of incantations
2. executor - really fun to play when utilizing the skill at most, dog is fun too
3. duchess - a furious bloody damage machine when you want to go crazy
4. guardian - dedicated shield character to have a chill game with
5. raider - somehow reminds me OG ER experience the most, fun with colossals
6. wylder - okay character, but gets old fast
7. recluse - just rather boring to play with, no SotE spells which are most fun
8. ironeye - was just really shitty with him, constantly dying for some reason, abysmal loot in fast-paced game, most of the loot wasn't proper at all in most sessions, hated the experience

Night of the Baron is your main relic. As for the rest, get any effects related to guards, guard counters and ult. Most notable ones are
