finally, after playing master duel for a long while, and then going to locals to just play goat format, i built a deck (orcust) and took it to my local's tournament.

The OCG model is/ was laughably close to this already but legitimately all you need to do with product is to cut down on retarded fluff so sets dont come with shit packfiller, and then print every single card as common, super and ultra (you could even cut useless garbage in between rarities like super and rare). Not a single card should get gatekept by pricing so now you can then leave secrets/starlights/ultimate rares as actual chase rarities with potential alt arts that will never ever get reprinted so they will hold their value and only increase with time
