ATOM RPG used its CHR equivalent as a check instead of speech a lot of the time which I think is good. It makes sense that CHR would be used for 'charm' approaches (especially seduction) and speech reserved for more logical persuasion.

I played NV back when it came out and finished it, remained a fond memory ever since. Installed Viva Las Vegas few days ago, played it for a couple of hours. Huh, can't say I hate this.
The default zoom on long scope is same as binoculars default, and you can zoom them just the same. I like.
Gauss rifle at least feels now a lot better with true projectile instead of hitscan, the delay made it feel awkward and the secondary explosion was already a hidden projectile so combining the two into real "true" projectile was definitely the right move, just need to get used to leading my shots now. Thankfully they are really fast so adjustment should be easy.

Haven't tested bows yet but they seem to be the next meta, especially for raids since you can shoot trough enemies to hit their weakpoints on their back in manual aim, such as shield generators.

Scorch beast health has significantly been booster and are no longer one shottable with revolvers, legendary ones can take up to 3 shots now.

Haven't really noticed anything on super muties yet.

No it's a buffed 45. It has nothing to do with a 51. The 60 was a field upgrade of 45's by slapping more armor on them to keep them on the field longer because 51's were more expensive and harder to make. Now I only have 1 active char, with 1 or 2 updated builds. Are those perks even worth to stack? That just add damage up to 20%, but as mutliple cards. Perks are so annoying, 80% of them are about durability, or "just adds damage". I really want somw avtual fun perks, not for my build to be 2/3 about durability and weight limits....

If the new Heavy Gunner perk changes stay as is (aka, you get a stack every 50 rounds) then it means if you have modded Gauss Minigun with increased mag size that means you've got 625 rounds and reach full stacks with 500 so you've got full damage bonus for 125 rounds unless you pair Drum Corps with Bringing the Big Guns

It has its uses, the plan is coveted quite a lot. It counts as both a heavy weapon and a shotgun so you can use the perks for both on it and you can change its ammo a lot with plans sold by bullion vendors.
Plus with the plan consumed you will start getting them as rewards and drops which are always good to roll for legendary effect recipes.
Someone will probably be along shortly to seethe about your luck in getting it.

Really? I've had the plans for Pepper Shaker for about two(?) years. Is't really that good? When I use it last time I just thought "Eh" and scrapped the gun. Sadly it wouldn't see any potential synergy with the Heavy Gunner perk changes due to the 50 round mag, but you can always get a quad one, I guess.

The weapons value is a personal choice but the plan is the real crowd pleaser due to its rarity. Most people will glady make you one for free if you ask for but will not just give the plan away, most of the time.
its value is proportional to how much you want it and while the meat weeks are ongoing it becomes something of an ongoing insult to not have it. Then any other time of the year its just rotting in some player inventory either not on sale or at a stupid price. I have 14 of the fucking things.

Yeah. I think they were trying to copy the M26 Pershing. Like most of F4's designs, it looks cool at a glance, but if you actually stop to analyze it, you'll notice tons of impractical shit that'd impede performance. A little bit of form over function is okay, but when you have shit that would impede the turret from turning, that's when you have issues.

Hello, I'm looking to play Fallout New Vegas again for the first time in many years. Last time I did a play through was when I was in high school/ college 2015/ 2017 sometime. Back then I was using project Nevada and really liked it but people say not to use it anymore. was planning on installing Viva Las Vegas as a base and then maybe adding some mods to that. Does anyone have any experience with Viva Las Vegas, and what are some mods that you guys use nowadays. I don't want any overhauls or anything, just cool mods that add stuff like quests or guns. Also, is Nexus still the go to place? Also, also, I don't want Tale of Two Wastelands, just New Vegas.

If passed, would Stop Killing Games mean that Bethesda would be required, by European law, to one day make a singleplayer version of Fallout 76?
You have to pay for this game that is absolutely useless if they shut down the servers which is what SKG is all about. I don't know if the microtransactions factor into the SKG but there's also stuff people would buy with atoms they wouldn't be able to access once 76 inevitably gets shut down
