Masada being incredibly butthurt that moege with a fraction of the production value and effort were selling hundreds of times better than his VNs is what directly lead to the creation of Senshinkan. The VN has way more SOL and moe stuff than his other VNs, which he included in the VN ironically to mock the industry.
The true irony is that it backfired and made Senshinkan the best thing he's ever written.

one thing that's prolly more telling of me than of the work is how hard the rules lawyering and squabbling over the definition of words filters me. the chars will argue about minute details and to me it'll just look like a contest of asspulls. but then again, i never attempted to solve the mystery myself since i don't really care who did it or what's the nature of it
outside that the story is interesting enough to keep me reading
some of it might be sunk cost but i'm close enough to the finish line that i might as well go for it

But it all comes together at the end because the whole mystery was to distract you from the real twist.
It was a good enough 3 hour ride but if you're expecting something to stretch your brain it's not that. There were multiple points where the characters acted like there was a big shocking reveal and I was kind of baffled because I thought it was so obvious I didn't realize it was supposed to be part of a mystery.

What an unique experience this was.
If not for the middle part dragging horribly and being rather out of place, alongside alot of other obtuse philosophical garbage that just wasn't necessary, it might've been quite good. The philosophy stuff was lacking or maybe it was just too deep for me. The absolutely horrendous english translation filled with big mistakes certainly didn't make this easier - some sentences just don't make any sense - thankfully you can switch to JP at any point and just OCR the text when it's clearly wrong.
The sol writing was really good, the main reason to play this and the localization for it was great (still not a fan since I couldn't get a good grasp of personality because of it since it's unvoiced).
The true end twist of 'bro she didn't love you, she loved the thrill you brought' and likewise 'you didn't love her but the idea of someone falling in love with you and needing you' was rather unique.
A decent story about how humans think and operate touching mostly upon love with badly(? It was okay just very BUT) done philosophical babble about humanity assigning meaning to words and things and how we view reality. Tried to do too much.
