Yup. Main issue with most of the old events is how mishandled they are with the casts.
You'll notice this a lot. There's 3 characters but sometimes only 1 gets a focus that's noticeable.
Examples include the X.mas akari/yori event where Jun does nothing or the Cinderella Rima one where Makoto and Maho have no real input in the plot.

Events have never been better than what we're getting. And this year had no Commander/Winter Nakayoshi dud yet imo.
