Played my budget swordcraft aggro, first two opponents were runecraft who were board wiping and later dropping anne&grea every turn until it was time to spam kuon. Last match was vs portalcraft who dropped 2 Apollos (in one turn) on my guys as a boardwipe then the 7 mana neutral legendary into Orchis spam.
But I won last one because my opponent quit :')
I don't think I'll touch this until I get a deck with like 6 legendaries. They are incredibly powerful to the point where a lot of matches are just dropping the same card for 3 turns in a row.

No one disagrees that rune has the highest highs but the deck struggles a lot early game, in an environment where decks like sword and forest are doing very well this is a serious issue. And even if you do manage to win early game, you need your power cards in hand to do anything: you NEED grea on 5, you NEED to draw into dshift early, and you most likely need kuon on 7 as well. The deck also has a huge tendency to brick because you play like 10 bricks and only 3 to 6 low-cost bodies.

I've lost count of how many times I've rushed down rune playing aggro and by the time they came online they were already fucked enough that it didn't matter. And I've also had it happen to me as rune.

>>529273938I feel kinda iffy about the cannons since running only 1 means you rarely draw it in alot of games and therefore cant really do any good combo fusing when alot of times you can answer your opponent on turn 4/5 by doing alrouette instead. puppets are definitely super good though, extra removal when playing orchis or the puppet shield spell being a good removal on turn 3 or comboing later on is good as well. I should probably remove the kitty cannoneers but they've always been a good turn 3 play
