socketing and linking can be done from the bench, you just collect fusings and jew orbs and use the recipes (now found in red maps) 350 jews for a 6sock i think? then the rest of your jews go towards npc trading into fusings at 4:1 ratio until you have 1500 fusings. you can of course quality the item to 20% (or more with fossils) and try yourself but there's rng involved and you could get fucked.

with old recombs and apparition scarab it would still be painful but not nearly as bad. you recomb the hunter prefixes to make a 2 prefix wand (dont need to spend divines because you will get more than enough of them while rolling for spell damage), then you craft + aspect that wand and multimod a t1 spell damage wand to get a ~35% chance at success. with new recombs you have to somehow get a t1 spell damage + hunter prefix wand first which is only a 33% chance of success and then do a 2 + 2 recomb which is like 30% chance. basically with new recombs you would need like 5 times as many t1 spell damage wands (that mod will get deleted every time you fail)
with old recombs you would also make the entire item in the final recomb, you would have done a t1 spell dmg + 2x t1 suffix recomb (0% chance to lose the spell damage, suffix mods are high weight so w/e if you fail) and then recombed that with the 2 hunter prefixes + 1 t1 suffix mod (1 suffix is doubled to get 6 mods on both multimodded items)

Blight is much better earlier getting higher end oils. Silver still go for 80 something chaos, gold for 210 currently. Silver and Gold drop often enough from higher tier maps + and if not you get so many oils you can upgrade stuff pretty easily if you run it enough. Is it worth it? Maybe not but I personally just enjoy the mechanic.
The multiple annoint items USED to sell well but now don't. The only things I've moved this league are a single neck that dropped plus a single pair of boots. The rest sat in my sale box until I disencahnted them.

I have a friend who sales good minion eyes (poison chance + attack speed + phys/chaos damage) but the time spent making them versus selling them isn't worth it and normally only his 15% poison chance ones move and people try to haggle it all the time. He had a near best in slot eye with all 3 of those at t1 plus 36 life, and listed it at 2 divine which nobody else was close and he had probably 30 people write him offering 50-100 chaos because it's "just an abyss eye" but in a good belt it would be 50-70 added chaos damage, 72 life 30% poison and 10% attack speed.

What I would do is make a 2nd tree for maven DP and betrayal+domination to spam on basilica. The goal is to get seer and scry it to your desired map. This will also feed you stuff you need for invitations. The money won't be good but it should let you power up to doing t16.5 strats.

Then you can use the first tree to print your desired 8mod 16.5s, and run them on your third tree with your strat of choice.

there's a good chance that it may be server related. because, and idk if you already know this, for example the game has shadows injected directly from the server (correct me if I'm wrong). we've been having server issues since league start, so maybe those same issues are causing engine issues downstream

Significant portions of this game have been like this. One or two of the new boss fights don't have the graphics loading in for a solid minute. One boss is the boss where I need to go into a pink and blue beam to reengage the guy. Problem is I can't see where or what that is. Sirus, one of my favorites, is nothing but a 5 fps bossfight with occasional graphic flickers and sometimes the storms won't load for a solid minute or two.

I liked the mercs & thought they were a good addition at first, especially when one gave me a tabula around level 30 but overall even with the little gimmicks like having perma soul eater, I think they're shit. Agree with the bosses n memories too. I'm not a fan of this league, I'm already looking for new games to play which says something as I often play the entire league & not just 3 weeks...
