The important part of Arc Ethan is that he gigabuffs NC Cheren, a Tech+Strike nuker with AoE damage to make up for Ethan's own shortcomings. You just pair them with a necessary meta support, from Steven, to Blue, to Giovanni, to Mina. And if you don't need further antigimmick, just use SC Larry

The thing about Ethan is that he can delay his zone setting while also being a respectable damage dealer. One extension 3 and his Field is EX is all you really need. So ideally you use thunder wave at first to delay -> Supp sync -> Aeroblast (to set EX FZ) and B move in the turns before sync -> sync with Ethan -> Ethan T move for -4 sync -> nuke with Cheren with a perfectly timed sync into B move into Fly.(and Ethan second B move also here)

Cheren does a fuck ton of damage already on his own, and with Ethan's Arc passive + rebuffs + EX Zone will make him giga cracked. So long as the antigimmicks are checked, this combo should destroy all UBs

You don't even need a fully dedicated Support like Blue/Steven to beat the UBs if you have EX field backing big output, you only need to play around specific attacks in the script (which you already had to be wary of because of having to fight Fissure at all). That being said, SC Larry is close enough to them on a 2% unit while more importantly bringing a metric ton of EX field fuel, which they cannot do.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he has the strongest Sync in the game by a landslide on the team of Arc Ethan and SC Larry. Larry doesn't just extend EX Flying Zone but pumps PMUN and Sync Up Next consistently for Cheren to reach absurd heights. Ethan can -6 SpDef out the enemies too. And Cheren hasn't even gotten his 5/5 grid yet. He'll be really hard to top.

Under sunny weather any ally attack gives +1 speed to the team and +1 SMUN to self, so it's not bad though obviously it doesn't do much for Adaman.

I just gave up on doing the second parts of the extreme fights since I couldn't get Elio or Chicken. The game is slowly starting to leave me behind, I used to be able to beat all the EBs no problem. But not being able to consistently roll for all the new meta is kind of screwing me, couldn't get Arc Steve and he seems to be vital for a lot of runs. At least I can still easily do shit like HSC, CS, and such.
