Because out of all DPS she doesn't have any skills that translate to other heroes. Tracer gives you tracking and good camera chops. That can be translated to every hero. Cass gives you good positioning and flickscan chops. That can translate to Widow and Ashe, and the general aim muscle memory helps with everyone else. Echo though? She's just weird as fuck. She doesn't have any overlapping skills. She feels different from every other hero in the game. I consider both her and Genji to be the most mechanically demanding heroes in the game.

I've been on Team 6v6 for years, saying the game would get so much better if they brought it back. They did, and I played nothing but 6v6 for months. And I then I went back to 5v5 for a little to compare.

My God 5v5 is so much fucking better it's not even funny. Everyone acts like retards up to 100000000 in 6v6, team coordination is basically non existent. There's so many, SO FUCKING MANY MERCY MAINS, and they're all just SHIT. It's been so fucking awful.

On some defense rounds I have as much healing as my supports thanks to this.
But he's good only when distances are short and maps are full of corridors.

Is this character any good? I like gunslingers but I'm not sure if I'm using his kit well.
My aim is...ok, I think, I can land shots reliably and crits somewhat reliably but it feels like almost anything he does other DPS do better, especially Ashe. He's slow, loud, has a big hitbox and pretty weak defensive tools, his damage doesn't seem that high to compensate it given that he has 6 bullets and a very limited range.
Am I missing something? is Fan the Hammer crazy good and I'm not using it correctly?

Deadeye is very feast-or-famine, usually famine given that it needs a billion different conditions to be effective, it's pretty high risk. Wish both the dmg reduction and speed remained consistent through it's duration.

He's a bit sturdier than ashe and his effective range will 2 tap other squishy targets at medium range, granted you hit your headshots. McCassidy is more of a stand and fight hero, sticking with teammates closely as he is a "slow" dps which means he doesn't have mobility to quickly reposition himself. But he thrives in a deathball comp where he has a lot of bodies to soak up damage while you directly look for critical dinks to keep up the pressure on the frontline. Ashe is a more of a marksman hero with a bit of mobility so that she can reach power positions (high ground mostly). She's good at locking down lanes from a safe position far away not unlike widowmaker but with more utility thanks to dynamite which can end up making huge plays and puts on a lot of pressure if you set it off on a clump of enemies.

This season has both made me incredibly appreciative of how far OW has come and how much more enjoyable it is now, yet also incredibly frusterated at just how many heroes and a handful of maps need to be significantly retuned or reworked to make the game healthier.

This is the best OW has ever been, yet its more clear to me now more than ever how many awful designs have lingered throughout the years without being addressed.

I wish we started with the OW2 team we have now, but I also understand it took years of hindsight nbd learning from recent falwed experiences (Circuit Royal, LW, Mauga, Hog, Ball and Sombra reworks) for them to become as capable as they are now.

I hope they'll continue to ramp up reworks of the few maps left that people have issues with, in addition to the many problematic heroes they have yet to properly address.

If anything such a future makes me more excited than any potential new content, as new content will draw in new players and keep drawing back the majority of the playerbase, but a smoother and more fun experience will not only help retain but also grow a larger playerbase long term through more positive player experience and word of mouth.
