It's honestly insanely strong on bugs and ayys.
I can't think of anything wrong with it, the cooldown is perfect, the timing means it will cut through overlapping chaff spawns.

The only downside is that it does linger for a while which means you have to be mindful where you're throwing it. I like to throw it into POIS though and it tends to kill anything that could call.

Nah, ammo is not that tight. You can easily run to POI and get more ammo. City maps have shit load of ammo everywhere. If you play for a while and can recognize the POI, you are pretty comfortable with ammo with exception of some support weapons (only HMG and GL really.

Yea but I don't think it is broken due to ammo. It's a QOL compared to just getting ammo and supply call down. Remember that you also get supply from being reinforced after dying as well. I don't think it makes a huge difference in performance on ammo side except for GL and HMG. In fact, GL and HMG is balanced around having supply pack. People mostly complain about amount of stim. However, that is due to power creep. The stim boost and the nerf to enemy's offensjve capability is what made stim so good and make supply pack kinda too good.

If you're in heavy armor you can just stand out in the open and kill them all without much of a problem. I want the shield generator and other defensive stratagems to matter more. Or at least needing to take cover a hell of a lot more.

I think the biggest issue with railcannon is that it's always something I wanna use, but I have to think "if I use it now, a factory strider or bile titan might show up"

After strictly using orbitals for a while I forgot how good and visceral an eagle strike feels. They're so seamless, you feel like a god throwing down death and ruin onto the pygmy masses.

chicken jockeys have gotten a lot more accurate these days, and I'll get headshot by bots all the time even when prone.

Just use two stun nades or a single gas nade for the same effect.
EMS takes a year to call in and the short cool down is completely negated by the fact it's only useful during breaches.

How would you fix the warrant?
For me I prefer it:

For me, it's the AR-19 Liberator. The best Super Earth assault rifle. I even ask for extra magazines and the staff are so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for Liberator magazines and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly Super Earth Armed Forces worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three magazines. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local SEAF Depot, I go there at least 3 times a week for resupply and double dipping, 1-2 times for pushing the button on someone elses portable hellbomb, and maybe once for dropping cluster bombs danger close when I'm in a rush but all i want is a great stratagem that is affordable, fast, and can match my friendly fire needs.

I even reload my mags half full, it's thrilling! What a great weapon.

The full solution would be to replace the guided ammo gimmick with fully programmable ammo (besides standard AP2 ammo, give it two or three more options out of armor piercing, concussive, incendiary, flak, grenade). If it's modelled after the Lawgiver, then make it perform like one.

But if we're talking about fixing it while keeping it the way it is, it just needs its current capabilities expanded and improved:

1. Improve the tracking turning speed by at least 50%
2. Increase the bullet speed while also making Unguided bullets as fast as regular bullets (so that in Unguided mode it can at least function like a regular pistol)
3. Allow it to lock on to more enemy types (right now it seems to be unable to lock onto "quasi-heavy" enemies like Scout/Rocket Striders and Brood/Alpha Commanders)
4. Increase the lock-on range to 70-75 meters
5. Give it a 14+1 round magazine and eight spare magazines

You can stun it, but it's easier to just brute force it with damage. Fleshmob has one of the longest stun if you stun them. They are only immune to stun during a charge.

It'd be nice if stagger broke their charge too, like if you hit them with 30-35 stagger shots enough they stop charging dead in their tracks.

Railgun is a nice alternative to the LC, and you have all the spacing you'll need with the brap dog zoning out things that get in melee, but you are also going to have ammo economy problems that make you a cuck slave to the support backpack as well if you want to use it like a primary weapon. That's also not accounting that the sight is also somehow more garbage the LC's sight, making actually trying to precisely shoot at shit well over 100 meters with it a pain in the ass. The reality is that neither of these weapons excel at the long range that LC works at. The only thing truly comparable is the AMR, and that support weapon is an actual meme.

Back then, the basic rockets were insta-gib, the rocket devs fired more often, and the heavies took multiple shots even with EAT and RR to kill unless you hit the weak spots. There was also a lot fewer tools to work with.
Against tanks, it was either a red stratagem (typically an OPS) or else you HAD to flank. Having multiple tanks, hulks, and rocket troopers/devs all at the same time, especially on a jungle planet mae things an absolute shitshow.

The hardest part about early bot are the devas and berserkers. Shield devas and rocket devas had much better accuracy and will hit you from 50 m of more for rocket. Tanks aren't much better, the just are always eagle strike bait due to their huge hitbox and slow speed. What's the point of recoil reduction?
If you're firing for an extended period of time, the shots just go higher so you just pull down right?
If I'm firing in short rounds with enough space between shots there's no recoil. And even if I did shoot repeatedly the recoil reduction is so small that it barely would make a difference if I hit or not.

Ergo feels like the most important stat, just because you need to actually hit stuff when everything is spread out. Otherwise I shoot before I have my cursor aligned which actually causes me to miss.

I don't really notice a difference when I'm prone or standing. Maybe with a really high rpm and burst fire? Maybe?
