Items support ashe abused no longer do the things she abused them for.
Lux is... below average, corrupting pot is no longer a thing btw.
Xerath yet again had a shift away from base damages and towards ratios to move him back to mid. It has been effective.

As any of these you'll have your poke effortlessly shielded/healed by an enchanter or have an engager set up for his jungler to rape you OR rape the rest of your team with roams you can never hope to match. You'd have to bully enemy ADC into having 30cs at 10min or ragequitting to make your pick worth it - and I don't think anyone's gonna ragequit in a tournament type scenario.

When the game first started a constant dps ranged character was a necessity because burst wasn't how it is now. Now most fights end with 4/5 seconds. A character that requires 2/3 items and at least 10 to 15 seconds of auto attacking doesn't cut it anymore. They aren't even needed to auto turrets anymore. In the time an adc throws off 3 autos a mage has killed two people

The only adc champs that saw any relevance in the past years were newer ones that had some kind of gimmick that broke/changed how the game was played and they all got dumpster nerfed.
