And Ralsei says that a Darkner styled after a loved one only appears in specific darkness, implying the personal connection has to be strong. I imagine magic Dark revival needs a stronger connection than "the teacher you had years ago". Alvin being the one to do it specifically to see his dad fits perfectly. Yet he's nowhere to be seen at all, and the Knight is clearly looking for someone the whole time. It's really not that much of a stretch to assume it's Alvin here.

Schizo Boss Theory: The normal route is different from the prophecy, with Kris trying to manipulate it to some end that we don't know yet.
The reason that Kris was so affected by Spamton was that he saw him as a reflection of himself, someone trying to go against fate for his own ends and turning into a deranged lunatic that fails anyways.
Gerson didn't really care about fate, as he saw destiny as being a personal thing that you can change. This reflected on Suzie as someone she can learn from, and can be seen as a reflection of the change she wants to be.
Ralsei seemingly doesn't have a secret boss that's a reflection of him. Unless we've already fought them, or they'll be in the next chapter.
