still uncertain about weapons. do i need to pay a ton of attention to them here at the beginning? am i going to brick my account by picking a bunch of staffs from my 4* crates to make my waifu slightly better?

One staff will do, the boost from forging dupes isn't that big. You can't really fuck up with weapons since the level carries over, when you switch from Rin's Level 40 4* Staff to her Level 1 5* Staff, the 5* will automatically level to 40.

Wonder gets some hefty power boosts at 30 and 35. He's the strongest character on my team currently.
Apparently he remains really good but takes on more of a supporting role in the current chink endgame

if you're paying attention, the basic reroll only takes about 10 minutes for 20 pulls on the beginner banner and 10 on the joker one
you can keep playing for more rolls at level 10 but that's a lot longer
