took a break for a month and came back and holy some of the worst survivor teammates ive ever seen

This game *does* have good maps but it keeps putting me on the steaming shit ones

I downed a survivor, but when I picked them up someone spawned a party pallet right on top of me and dropped it and got a save. When all 4 survivors escaped I saw that they were all P100. Survivors wonder why killers won't go easy on them during the event.

Then I need to press Q, and to get value out of the ability I then need to time the pallet drop perfectly. This entire process requires rigorous training and innate 200 IQ potential.

survivor is frustrating when I get teammates with bad game sense and I can't communicate with survivors to go for saves/finish gens when I am in chase. however, survivor does feel easy when all teammates are decent a chase, pay attention to their surroundings, and know how to avoid a 3 gen situation. At high MMR it doesn't feel like I'm losing because the killer is good, I'm losing because the killer is bringing strong add-ons and perks. :)

I did a Hex build as Singularity, but survivors were so fast to cleanse all hexes I couldn't even get more than 1 Hex: Plaything totem to spawn.

Spam crouch to let survivors know you're friendly and then just farm BP all game. You aren't gonna be having fun with a fucked CPU anyway so you may as well rack up event BP gains in preparation for when you can properly play again. Clown is strong because I can throw my piss bottles at cute femvivors on hook and even if they get unhooked they're still covered with my stinky and will have to spend the rest of the match reeking foul. Their teammates try to hide it but females are very sensitive towards social judgement so they are fully aware of how rancid with my scent they are. Even if they escape they are marked by me.

Surgical suture and Gel dressings can give you about 3 full heals if the skill check RNG is right. At least 2 full heals as long as you hit everything so it's a matter of getting good with skill checks, pretty fast too. Built to Last ensures you get 4-5 full heals by yourself.
Nothing has to be "infinite use" in this game because in this game every second counts and getting something quicker is better than having infinite uses of it. You might as well use self care that takes more than half a minute which is 1/3rd of the gen. The speed fucking sucks but hey, you have infinite amount of it right?

you're complaining about balance around a gamemode that will be gone in less than a month

I play the anniversary mode to get 200k ponits. if everyone plays well and both sides are being chill without farming survivors can get 300k-400k while the killer gets 350k. If killer wants to be a tryhard they would get 250-300k. If survivors play too well they are just getting 198k or lower.

Imagine if chaos shuffle and 2v8 were permanent

Honestly the best part of Lightborn is spending 3/4ths of the match pretending you don't have it. Then things get increasingly desperate for the survivors. Lara is already dead. Leon is hiding somewhere. Steve just went down again. As you pick him up, Sable swings into view, clutching her side in pain. Thinking if she could just get the flashlight save this time, maybe, just maybe they can finish the last two gens.

And you stride directly at her with the light against your eyes, punch her to the ground, and roar at her. Wesker is right. The Progenitor virus is the path to ascension and you, the Nemesis-T Type, are the most powerful lifeform in this lobby. Corporate is pleased.

Pretty self explanatory. The one thing that made it incredible is that it gets pocketed until someone lets go of a gen, so the time it's blocking a survivor from doing it is always maximized. Amazing synergy with scream perks, mobility powers, other slowdowns.
>Bamboozle
There are some windows that are flat out not balanced and if you don't have a catchup power to stop them looping it then they have a place they can consistently run to every chase and you just lose.
>Discordance
Pressure two people off of a gen at once. It brings you to pretty much the best possible place you can be.
>Friends 'Til the End
Not so much for its individual value, but because of its various effects giving it great synergy with all sorts of perks. The scream is great for DMS. Makes some obsession perks actually viable like furtive, helps get pwf stacks, etc.

nah you're describing the passive portion of his power that comes from the madness status effect you apply to survivors. has levels 1-3, where 3 acts as slowdown and gives you info on where they are (you can see the aura of illusory doctors, which always spawn near and facing a madness 3 survivor)
when you hit a survivor with the active portion of his power, his M2 zap, they're locked out of any interaction for 2.5 seconds, including using pallets and vaults. if you time it right you'll deny them their resources while still gaining on them.
the best general addon for doctor is discipline. it both lowers the delay between casting your M2 and the shock actually happening, and it enhances his chase by effectively removing his red stain

p2/p3 upgrades that T1 to T2/T3 respectively. if you p3 everyone, everyone will have every perk at its highest level.
p4-6 gives you blood clothes i think, and p7-9 gives you perk icon charms (little hook/belt decorations)
prestige goes to p100, at which every bloodweb is permanently a full sized level 50 bloodweb.

prestiging does not remove items or perks or anything, it's not a reset like it is in other games. it's just part of the standard character leveling process. anything past p3 is to "flex" more-or-less.
the ideal basic strategy for a new player is to p1 characters with good perks, and then level up the characters you want to play
