plus if you pick up any weapon with magic attack buffs, it buffs the bell, the claws, and the ash

They serve different ends. The seal bonus is a flat 50 FP, very good in the beginning since all you need to do is find 2 more seals (which you can get from any altar). Meanwhile the rise one is 18% per, so as you gain levels it will give a larger and larger FP boost. Stacking both ensures you have a nice FP pool both early on and late in the run, and almost eliminates the need for excess shards

You don't need that 1.18 from the rise which is also inconsistent depending on your runs, you will almost always grab 3 seals.
And if we wanted to get into it your less damage means spending more fp at any rate (and time)
Unless you are starving in some 2 or 3 caster comp (which you should be routing to mitigate and it's a high damage comp so they can manage usually, guardians bring the hardest time), you won't really see value from that FP
Again this is just assuming I can pick whatever line I want, if I saw that line witb 2 other good ones I would be very happy, but I would be even happier to see a damage line

There should be an alternative mode where the circle doesn't close based on time but rather each time you tackle a camp or fort or whatever, other nearby places become drenched
and dying "fails" that particular point of interest for you causing it also to become drenched

a mode where instead of the focus being on going fast the focus is on carefully selecting what points of interest you want to do, in what order and to do them carefully

wouldn't be the main mode of course, but something a bit more reasonably paced so you can interact a bit more with your teammates

at endgame I'm picking the rest of my slots for passives so I usually end up with like 1-2 seals

yeah, I wouldn't include improved magic attack either, I think the evergaol buff is plenty enough for increasing damage and we're already stuck with 3 class effects taking up space

the way I play with what relics I have for now, I rely on getting whatever for day 1 and purple/orange boss reward drops for day 2/3 since it also skips getting a smithing stone (which a lot of erg runs do) so my runs with revenant are more dependent on my luck
so if I could customize my relics, I'd use the remaining relic space to buff my starting equipment for consistency rather than damagemaxxing

I think the issue is that apart from the Evergaol relic there aren't any relic effects that can consistently boost Rev's incants. I suppose a "improve fire attack" one on all 3 relics would cover your bases for 60% of offensive incants (Giantsflame, Blackflame, Frenzyflame, Bloodflame, Crucible Breath, Dragonfire, etc), but other than that all you have are the school-specific ones which are heavily reliant on RNG and therefore not really worth slotting in most of the time. And the purely elemental attack buffs are only 6.5%, I think having more casting uptime is still more valuable unless you're specifically trying to speedrun bosses. Basically, I could be convinced that "more damage > more FP" but I'd need you to provide a list of effects that you think would make that worthwhile.

Super early into a fresh run, need something to spend my sombers on. Any recommendations? I currently have 20 str, 13 dex, 15 fai, and negligible other stats. I'll definitely be going higher with str and fai later but I'm also fine putting a few more points into dex if there's a fun weapon option.

I dunnyo, my honed bolts do like 1.1 to 1.3k on fulghor, spears were doing uncharted 700 min, but often they uncharge 900-1.1k, charged 1.7-2.3k, could go higher but my glassiest run was with a wylder and duchess, no frostbite or really other amplifies and I was missing slots
Dragon Cult is very fun, those same incants I've gotten to delete numerous field bosses, big ones in like 15s, small ones in 3-4 later

Legit relics on the other hand tell me about the player's taste and personality, things like what they prioritize in their limited build making capacity.
