>>529570048 (OP)I contemplated asking this earlier, but, mayhap we can convert the Theme Fridays into a semi-monthly (four weeks) event? For the first week, we collect suggestions Wednesday onward, sponsors make their cases for the themes they suggested that day, and on Thursday, the poll opens on Friday, with the results announced that Sunday. Then, for this month, the event itself would take place from the 21st to the 28th. Thoughts?

Deepseek is bretty good
>>529592885If we do, with the extra time, we should make sure that there's time for people to get interested in the themes they're voting for, and for ideas to be passed around for public brainstorming to get interest in writing a prompt.
redpill me on how to use deepseek for storytelling and not just chatshit
>>529595312A lewd scenario makes it pretty easy, at least for Gemini/sapphire sub usage or the free model (which is just slower and I think older Gemini). Or just being initiative in dialog or free actions.
I also made a little dumb mod that makes every NPC have genital descriptions and some details about desires or fetishes, and makes enemies have lewd attacks.
>>529610576It's really not hard, but it opens up a massive amount of narrative potential. Just start your opening prompt with something like "(Write me a comedic and lewd story full of VTuber references about a cute, nineteen year old swamp beast dealing with the aftermath of eating far, far too much Taco Bell for dinner and the unique consequences this entails for her sentient toilet.)" I find Deepseek v3 324 far better for storytelling than v1, even though it's supposed to be the 'chat model'.
>>529612051>I just let the model do all the work for me, lol, I don't give a shit about cowriting.
>>529612179It's about what you want out of the AI, simplicity works too. Though my last opening prompt was "(write a dark and comedic modern fantasy story about an all-girls magic college with extremely high standards for its female students, but rather lax and lenient expectations for the tenured and magically powerful professors. The story opens with a furry French anthro wolf girl freshman eighteen-year-old, named Margot Valise, reporting to the personal study of her female Enchantments professor, Tabitha Eldridge. Margot is a thick and athletic wolf girl, covered in thick, gray fur. She's long struggled with a minor weight problem, and has exercised to compensate giving her a stocky frame and prodigious, fluffy haunches. It then shifts to Margot's lengthy and detailed internal reflections on her past half-year at the all-girl's magical college. Margot has become increasingly unsettled about her seemingly tenuous place at the high-stakes magical college, and allowed herself to come under the 'mentorship' of the much older woman through private 'tutoring' sessions. The magical college has extreme practices of student 'dismissal', of which Margot is keen to avoid. Dismissal at the magical college meant being fed whole and alive to one of the school's predatory and voracious magical creatures, first-year freshman students traditionally being gradually hand fed to dog-sized Witchbane frogs, their elastic stomachs and persistent natures making them uniquely capable of cramming down even larger young women whole and alive, subjecting them to languishing days of being digested alive while fully conscious and aware. Margot's own best friend at the college, an English freshman vixen named Tansy, had been fed to the frogs just recently after running afoul of another professor, named Mangus, who personally had her 'dismissed' for suspicious reasons, Margot extremely keen to avoid such a miserable and gooey fate after seeing her friend's compacted state... (part 1 of 4)
>>529612558Simplicity is for the unwashed masses.
>>529612558Realizing she needed a protector at the uncaring and seemingly capricious institution, Margot reluctantly yielded to the female professor's blatant sexual overtures, despite not being a lesbian and being especially disquieted by the vaginas of human females, Particularly the older Eldridge's huge, hairy bush. The wolf girl soon finds herself under the smothering affections of Eldridge, in an increasingly vexing and abusive unequal lesbian relation that only seems to intensify in its demanding and all-consuming nature. The reality of these thinly-veiled lesbian sex sessions invariably involves Margot enduring rough and invasive groping from the older woman, who seems especially fascinated by Margot's black, canine vaginal anatomy, while being compelled to lathe Tabitha's sagging breasts and nipples with her wide, soft, wet wolf tongue. This domineering foreplay inevitably gives way to professor Eldridge reclining back with legs spread, firmly inducing with thin romantic overtones for Margot to nestle her canine muzzle and black nose on her hairy snatch and perform exhausting marathon sessions of deep cunnilingus with her long, flexible canine tongue. Despite being decidedly straight and not interested in old, hairy human pussies attempting to hump and sheathe her snout, Margot could grimly endure these demeaning and humiliating circumstances, even Eldridge's obsession with calling her 'puppy' during their one-sided coitus sessions. She could even endure professor Eldridge's increasingly Auntish, mercurial, vulnerable, and near-hysteric manner, given what Margot had learned clandestinely about the professor's husband leaving her for a student at the school in quite scandalous fashion, if just for the safety from being summarily 'dismissed' for some seemingly benign trespass or failure to perform... (part 2 or 4)
Look, dude, nobody cares what you prompt the chatbot to tell you, wrangling that shit is a pathetic means of having fun. I will never use a service that disrespects me as such. When Deepseek decides to make an autocompletion model, without the tacky bullshit I don't want, only then will I give it a shot.
I do not, and will not ever, give a fuck about your shit, which has no place on a cowriting thread.
>>529612696But what Margot increasingly could not bare, was the eccentric older woman's obsessively doting and consequential relationship with her pet Pygmy griffon, Mr. Beaksly. Eldridge had an abiding infatuation with the small, feral, chimeric creature far beyond the healthy or seemly. With increasing frequency, once the older human professor has the wolf girl down on all-fours, snout buried in musky, wet crotch, Margot's fluffy ass and tail wavering in the air, Mr. Beaksly has plopped it's hundred pounds of weight upon the gray-furred wolf student's back, vigorously attempting to hump the defenseless canine female while she is preoccupied. The first time it happened, Margot thrashed and swatted at the rutting beast as it flapped and clawed at her from behind, until Eldridge furiously chastised her for 'bothering' her beloved pet Pygmy griffon. Upon stammering her objections to the rapacious bestiality to the professor, even as Mr. Beaksly is trying to work his surprisingly well-endowed and knot-bearing griffon penis up her tail-hole, Eldgridge immediately takes Mr. Beaksly's side with psychotic conviction, blaming Margot for enticing her pet over like a bitch in heat, and firmly demandedthe eighteen-year-old magical college student 'finish what she started' and allow the avian-leonid animal to mount her ass, before shoving Margot's face back into her own sopping pussy folds. Margot could not stand the feeling of the griffon's barbed penis lodged deep in her rectum, it's girthy, turgid bulge of flesh keeping her anus firmly knotted to the thin base of the animal's prick as it smothers her with its wings, claws wantonly at her back, and intermittently nips at her ears with its beak and laves her scalp and aural cavities with its long, flexible, rough and cat-like tongue... (part 3 of 4/5)
>>529612994Margot has desperately tried to voice her total, disgusted aversion towards being anally bred by the seemingly sadistic and roughshod little griffon, but Eldridge won't hear a word of it, simultaneously blaming Margot for the increasingly frequent 'accidental couplings', while simultaneously always demanding the paunchy wolf girl not leave her pet Pygmy griffon 'unsatisfied and pent-up'. However, the reality of the situation is that Margot has also learned she's not the first young, student girlfriend professor Eldridge has taken 'under her wing', and that her predecessors have all mysteriously and ominously disappeared before her, rendering the wolf woman terrified of displeasing the unstable and capricious older woman she now finds herself sexually enthralled to. Margot's fearful and vulnerable position renders her vulnerable to the almost-nightly reamings she receives from Mr. Beaksly, and the progressing psychological manipulation she endures from the uncompromising professor Eldridge. As Margot sheepishly and reluctantly enters Eldridge's study, she greets her student completely naked except for an open silk kimono, intimately and domineeringly embracing the larger wolf girl before guiding her towards a sex-stained couch. Margot normally has a rather perky and upbeat personality, but has demured into a rather submissive, plaintive, and whining manner around Eldridge, growing to doubt herself and become riddled with a deeply subconscious frustration over being reamed out by an animal against her will on an almost nightly basis. At every step under Eldridge's firm bidding, Margot is meekly and passively-aggressively argumentative, her reluctance to proceed at every stage towards sex blatantly telegraphed or meekly implied... (part 4 of 5)
>chatshitter spams slop
Nobody asked for this.
>>529613107Further complicating the ungenerous, roughshod lesbian couplings, but both the lupine and nubile aspects of Margot's nature means that she was previously unfamiliar with human vaginal structure, and is uniquely disquieted by Eldgridge's habit of thrusting forward and trying to partially vaginally sheathe her nose and snout during sex. Repeatedly focus on the interspecies positioning and initial lesbian groping as Margot internally reflects at length with an internal train of thought, while also speaking to Tabitha Avoid repetition and the usage of elaborate metaphors and moral reflections, keeping the narrative focused on events, characters, and ambient details. The story will be told in sections, so don't rush things, take each section at a long and detailed narrative pace. The main character is an unsympathetic and dominant authority figure when managing the wolf girl, while presenting as a warm, nurturing, matriarchal figure. Do not reference or summarize character's growth, bonds or moral drift. Do not rush the story's pace, slowly develop each aspect of the plot in correct sequence, elaborating on the details and avoiding repetition. This first section should be at least 1,900 words of quality narrative, character-driven writing. Avoid using overly melodramatic expressions, descriptions, metaphors, similes and phrases. Repeatedly focus on Margot's unique, furry-bodied wolf appearance, her long muzzle, her triangular ears, yellow eyes, and such. Margot speaks in a thick Parisian French accent, especially when she is overwhelmed and stressed, even her unique lupine vocalizations tinged with a French flair.)" So that's what a really complex opening prompt from me light look like. The AI can work with both, but direction helps it create what you actually want.
>>529613230And yet, despite that "effort", it's a complete waste of time. I want to co-write with a model. Deepseek is useless for that task.
>>529613345How do you actually define 'co-writing' though? I'm not sure I understand your arbitrary definition at all.
R1's not bad for pasting your story into and asking it to find errors/inconsistencies
or asking it to explain why your fetish is the hottest and best ever
>>529613585If tell the model exactly how to write it, that's not a story. That's a chat request. Cowriting would be a story intro, much like how the bulk of the prompts on the club are written. Lurk more. That you explicitly tell it to do work for you (what to avoid, what to do, how to proceed, et cetera) isn't co-writing. It's glorified ghost writing.
>>529613230Deepslop will be BTFOed by NovelAI's text completion update, mark my words.
>>529613789We're gonna get something even better than Deepseek? Are you trying to threaten me with a good time or something?
>>529613785NTA but I prompt chat models similarly and save the best outputs/ideas and build a story out of them. Then I paste that back in and ask it for more.
I think that's cowriting
>>529613585This is what an actual co-written prompt looks like. In this, you're not treating the model like a chef and ordering a meal. You're working with it, instead. You give the model the style you want, without explicitly saying what you want, and it follows your input seamlessly, without the arbitrary distinction between the user and what it outputs. It is a seamless experience, without the cold, emotionless, customer service like requests. I hate the direction where GenAI has headed. I understand the "ease" or whatever of this brings in money, but it's annoying as fuck. I want a company to make a text completion model; a good one. If it had subfunctions for chat-like requests to assist with writing/make plans, like
>>529614002 does, that would be a good use of the technology. I use it for that purpose, too. I think that is a legitimate use of thinking and chat models. But what you posted doesn't exactly qualify as co-writing, in my opinion. It's a primitive version of Star Trek's fantasy machine thing. That the market gave up on completion models in favor of chat and thinking models sucks all the ass.
https://prompts.forthisfeel.club/7715
>>529613785Who do you think wrote the bulk of the prompts on the club? Providing a sample of narrative writing is just a different path to arrive at the same end point of creating custom-tailored narrative-structured writing. A chat request would be requesting a story written like two people engaging in a text relay back-and-forth.
>>529613789A huge aspect of Deepseek's competitive advantage is it's ridiculously low price, while providing top-tier outputs. Speculation is really just that, guesswork and hope.
>>529614508It's pointlessly arbitrary to say providing a writing sample is the critical part of the process. If I specifically want a story to be written in the style of Tolkien, what's the effective difference between offering a writing sample of his, between activating the training vectors of his writing with the AI by directly requesting his style? Besides the fact that the direct request is far more flexible a tool, since a writing sample is going to tunnel the AI in on the sample's subject matter. With advanced models, operating the various keystone points of story structure in a meta way is the most advanced, power-user way to control the output, not necessarily offering writing samplings. I have done both, and vastly prefer the creative control direct requesting allows with abstract prompt requests, compared to biasing everything on the previously written narration. How do you seamlessly create flash-backs at specific intervals, or abruptly shift perspective between vastly different characters on the fly with samples? Star-Trek depicted the end-stage of technological recreation, the holo-deck, with such a natural control scheme for a very good reason.
>>529616642There is nothing arbitrary about it. You do not co-write. You order stories. End of discussion, you will never be half the man GayAnon is. I don't give a shit a how much a model costs, I'm not degrading myself into wrangling a "story" from models not designed for such a task. That you try to waive away that and argue it's not a critical distinction, is ludicrous.
Completion > instruct. Simple as.
>>529616642NTA, but this might not be the right thread for you, then. I suggest you try /aicg/.
>>529616920There is no content or argument with anything you've said in this point, you just seem angry and high off your ass on console-wars. Feel free to end the discussion by staying quiet, but you haven't made a case for yourself. Viagra was originally created as a heart medication, and boners were noticed as an unintentional side effect, until it wasn't. If a tool marketed as a rake shovels better than your shovel, you've got a shitty shovel, and I've got a great 'rake'.
>>529617113That would be the place for chat-style content, I have no interest in it. I'm all for narrative story structure, like how books are written.
>>529617516You've got a fundamental misunderstanding on what a story prompt and co-writing entails. Those aren't "writing samples". They are the start of the story, which the model continues from. The user reviews the continuation, makes edits, adds on to the output, and then continues from that. You aren't doing that. There is a fundamental distinction between the model you prefer, and the model I prefer. That's not console warring; that's you misinterpreting what co-writing actually is. Definitions have meaning. Don't insert your own "definition" for something that already has one.
>>529617001Any half-decent instruct model can be turned into a completion model with simple instructions to continue writing the story so far. No SillyTavern or whatever chatshit interface needed, can do it from koboldcpp or any other simple frontend. I suspect NAI's next model will be instruct as well since it's more convenient (can also use it as an API endpoint for things, see for example AIRL not recommending NAI anymore because it's not good at obeying instruct format commands). When people post their hypebot reactions, they're posting the result of instruct based prompting behind the scenes.
That said, making a wall of text asking for the AI to write the whole story for you (or even to write 95% of it for you) is obviously not what this thread is about.
>>529617661An autocomplete model will always be better than an instruct model wrangled into outputting autocomplete. An ideal model would be an autocomplete that leveraged instruct capabilities via a module, which sounds exactly what
>>529616642wants when he expresses a desire for direct editing, but he's too upset to realize that.
>>529617652NovelAI, despite using autocomplete model, also offers an API for their use. It being autocomplete doesn't prevent that.
I just don't seem to enjoy the workflow of instruct models, even if the outputs are fine
>>529618004The difference is autistically ordering foie gras versus making a homemade meal.
Didn't Kayra have a module for instruct commands? They're next model should leverage that. Retain autocomplete, but allow for "direct requesting".
>>529617652>The user reviews the continuation, makes edits, adds on to the output, and then continues from that. You aren't doing that.Objectively wrong. My style is to generate several times off the request prompt, then collate the best parts of each generation into the type of story I want, editing the sections I have pieced together as I see fit. Then I make new requests in a similar fashion, editing and directing the story structure and content at every step and juncture. What is the important difference between starting an AI generation series off with a writing sample, compared to an abstract request prompt? Your earlier assertion that there isn't editing and added input is 100% false.
>>529617803Do you understand how pompous it is to claim that it will *always* be that way? The way to verify such a claim would be to compare the quality of writing outputs, but even then there's always going to be individual preferences and quibbles muddying the issue. There's just no place for such grandiose and arbitrary distinctions with such a new creative platform. I'm interested in seeking out the best text generation model for putting out quality, custom-tailored narrative writing. What exactly are your priorities?
>>529618365That's not co-writing. That's making a collage.
>>529618365Bro, you're not fooling anyone into thinking you understand the purpose of the thread and what people here mean by "dynamic storytelling".
>>529618365I'm not making a moral case that what you're doing is bad, it's fine, you're just in the wrong thread.
If it isn't NAI, it doesn't belong here.
>>529618365My priorities are co-writing. I've made that clear several times. Have you tried to read anything that I've, or do you just want to argue and try to do exactly what you're accusing me of doing?, being all smug and pretending like your method is better? Especially when the difference is, you don't abide by the same definition that everyone else here does.
>>529618612That is not at all what the issue is, and you know it.
>>529618443I never said co-writing was in any way important, but you tried to define the critical step as reviewing, making edits, adding to the AI's outputs, and continuing from there. Yes, all those steps are part of my 'collaging' process, if it's critical for you to phrase it as such?
>>529618492Just how many prompts have you written for Theme Friday, newcomer?
>>529618520I disagree, feel free to make your case though.
>>529618634This entire exchange started with you (or some other anon) being smug and saying the co-writing method is better. I was just pointing out my method earlier to an anon who was asking how to use Deepseek for storytelling purposes, rather than chat content.
>>529616642>How do you seamlessly create flash-backs at specific intervals, or abruptly shift perspectiveBy using scene breaks, time markers, and other methods actual writers of actual novels use to demonstrate to the reader a shift in time has occurred. I have a hard time believing you have ever used an autocompletion model if you aren't aware that it follows from the last word, directly, taking into context the above to continue off from. Even something as simple as: Four years earlier... is enough to get that across.
>>529618365>What is the important difference between starting an AI generation series off with a writing sample, compared to an abstract request prompt? The key difference is that you misinterpret the writing given to a model as a "sample", and not an essential part of the story.
>>529619053He also misinterpreted what building off from the model's input with editing and reviewing means. The point went right over his head.
>>529618909The co-writing method is better, for autocompletion models. Instruct is shit, even when wrangled into storytelling, because it does not do it seamlessly. Have you ever used an autocompletion before in your life? I don't believe you have.
>>529618909Three. Each one meticulously crafted by my own hand and with love.
i have a hard time believing this guy is genuine
probably just claudefag putting on a mask again
he's been suspiciously absent today after all
>>529619372I've managed to do one, albeit not for Theme Friday.
>>529620241I've got two in my belt, the second is better than the first though. I had a third one, but I lost the draft.
>>529619002The fact that it follows from the last word directly is exactly why it's so difficult to create such seamless narrative leaps. The only way to actually steer these kinds of rapid scene changes is elaborately hand-holding the AI towards the general creative path intended. Of course all kinds of different intents can come into play here, some people prefer more randomization from their story creation process versus hands-on control of narrative development. That's okay.
>>529619053I think you misinterpret your fundamental duty in this argument to back up any of your assertions. Why is what you add to your story more essential than what I add to mine?
>>529619227Then the proof should be in the pudding of what kind of output storyposts we can create, right?
>>529619372My first entry was https://prompts.forthisfeel.club/1840 and since then I might very well be in the triple digits. Also can't forget I did https://prompts.forthisfeel.club/3000
>>529616642Generally I don't care about the distinction between instruct and completion, but instruct models are usually crippled.
Deepseek, for example, can't continue a scene without a prompt. If you try to send a blank input after its own output ends, it just won't generate anything.
You can get around that by just prompting for ideas, but it's a lot less seamless, creating noticeable hitches and making the story a sort of collection of scenes.
It can kinda harm automatic recall too, where it won't bring up things earlier in the story without prompting for them, though Deepseek is decent at this at least.
>>529620525There is nothing to assert. You have done nothing but prove to me that you don't understand what co-writing is. There is not "writing sample" given to the model; the beginning of the story is what a co-writer give it. Then, together with the AI, instead of building a collage from multiple "requests", is what is written, collectively, seamlessly. A proper back-and-forth. That isn't what you're doing.
>>529620525There is nothing difficult about creating seamless narrative leaps with autocomplete by writing like an actual writer would, dude. Just because you don't want to put in anything but minimal effort, doesn't mean it's a bad method.
>The only way to actually steer these kinds of rapid scene changes is elaborately hand-holding the AI towards the general creative path intended.
Current autocomplete models are more than capable of doing rapid scene changes without the handholding you claim such results require.
>>529621057Even AI Dungeon's GPT-3 fine-tune, as shittily cyoa-pilled as it was, which the thread used back when he claimed he wrote that first prompt, could do what he claims it can't.

Ah. It's vorefag, isn't it? Explains the sanctimonious, argumentative behavior.
>>529621638Wonder if he'll sperg out about snakes again if I post a poc of one?
>>529620706(Continue) is good enough, though. That's literally all the prompt you need once a few things are set in motion. You can also train Deepseek to write it's own instructions based on your general instruction format, or end each generation with a break and something like a "In the next section, Clarence the fuckbuddy will get titslapped by the Fox Mother he besmirched earlier..." as a guiding DNA after each generation. I also find Deepseek V3 actually is pretty good at past context recall, and critically, it has an insanely high max context and is cheap enough that there's basically no sweating cranking that shit to maximum.
>>529620856I asked you to define co-writing, I never said it was important or exactly what it is. Why is any of your methodology more 'proper'?
>>529620857Is your argument entirely that the more effort it takes, the better it is? Does someone who drives a car only want to put in minimal effort to get somewhere? I mean, yeah? Isn't that why we're using AI tools?
>>529621409I used Dragon well before I found /aids/ and started posting here regularly and sharing prompts. I've always been a Dragon detractor though. It was fun, but not that great. I actually liked a lot of NovelAI's early models more than Dragon, and I had quite a lot of Dragon experience.

>>529621787I don't use AI to minimize effort. I use AI to realize my worldbuilding efforts. That aside, that you think writing a sentence is too burdensome to do, when that is all the effort that's required to set-up a time skip or flashback, is a weird hill to die on.
>>529621787>(Continue) is good enough, though.It... really isnt, especially when you don't know where you want the story to go. I've rewritten Deepseek stories on local Nemo and the pacing is so much better when the AI is completing text. Though I obviously still prefer Deepseek due to the intelligence difference if nothing else.
I will say my favorite storytelling model has been Claude 3 Opus, since it could do both, and the instruct bias on its creativity and prose was barely noticeable.
>>529621928Good talk.
>>529622075If it makes you feel better I don't claim to be co-writing with Deepseek, especially not how you seem to want to define it.
>>529622326That is exactly like saying "I don't use a hammer to minimize effort. I use my hammer to build great and artistic houses that take incredible effort an d skill" Yeah, okay, great. You're not using your hands to hammer the nails in though, are you? I also believe that the AI can act as a tool not just for minimizing efforts, but occasionally realizing better products than could be created individually. I think that's very rare though, especially with all current tools available, for someone with good enough writing skills. But I also appreciate how working with an AI assistant takes a lot of the drudgery out of writing, letting me focus my efforts more on what I personally consider most critical to define.
>>529622567You're totally right, (continue) is a tool you need to be a bit selective with because it keeps degrading things without more guidance inserted at some point. I have used a truly massive amount of Claude 3 Opus though, and I find Deepseek nigh indistinguishable to work with and comparing outputs, at something like 1/25th the cost, or even cheaper. I'm genuinely surprised at how much I absolutely don't miss Opus, after spending 90's phone-sex amounts of money on it in the past.
>>529622567A big contention I have with instruct models is that it gives me too much to work from, and takes far more effort to wrangle an actual story continuation, than autocomplete does. When the purpose for using an AI is to make a story of my own, with assistance from the AI, that makes it annoying. I standby my argument that the perfect model would be autocomplete, with optional features for instruct. The best of both worlds: seamless generation word for word, with additional support/fun random diversions when prompted for. Using instruct to construct characters and lore for a story are what I consider fun uses of instruct models. I don't find it fun to write and continue a story with them, though. I've tried. I even gave chatbotting a chance. They're not for me.
>>529622216What is your opinion on feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl's unbirthing cute Central American girls up their scale-lined cloacas?
>>529622851Writing a story with instruct sucks. Tye difference between you and me, is exactly that. You think writing is drudgery. I don't. I find it fun to write with an AI, instead of having it do "drudgery" for me, so I then don't have to do anything but edit what it gave me. I find that boring. This
>>529622932Use of instruct is what I find fun. But never writing with it. The process I use is what I personally consider critical. Not bits and pieces. The entirety of it. Every lorebook. Every scene. Every character.
>>529622851>I have used a truly massive amount of Claude 3 Opus though, and I find Deepseek nigh indistinguishable to work withYeah, no offense, but given that massive input you posted up above, I'm not really surprised.
I kinda prefer when the AI gives me something I wasn't expecting or didn't know I wanted. Deepseek isn't incapable of that, but it does take more effort and interpretation on my part.
>>529623857They don't all start like that, that was just my most recent story I used as an example to show they aren't necessarily simplistic. And part of why I front-load the definitions so heavily is so the story can kind of blossom out from there, since it has a lot of definitions and understandings banked in the context for it to draw on if it needs a hint of where I want to take things. I do usually have a very firm internal idea of where I want the story to go though, so I get that someone would want to crank a jack-in-the-box that always reveals something new and unexpected, rather than ?/f soft vore with a specific engulfing sequence like I do most of the time.
>>529624135And just like everything else you have ever made, it will be tossed away and forgotten, for you to never return to.
>>529624316>it will be tossed away and forgotten, for you to never return to.Dear lord, I wish. >>529624135Took me a while to find my favorite unprompted Claude Opus continuation. I hate SillyTavern.
"Itchy Twitter finger" will probably stick with me as one of my favorite AI outputs for a while.
Imagine being against Summer Dragon. Soulless.
I feel like defining "dynamic storytelling" so strictly doesn't really serve any purpose, nor does holding "co-writing" to a higher standard. I probably used to think that way but I honestly can't bring myself to care anymore. I've played around with DeepSeek and it's fun as well, if in a more gamified call-and-response way. It's different but similar enough, at least not different enough to warrant an argument over a hundred posts.
>>529592885Sure, works for me. I'm not really all that involved in the whole theme selection process, but it's at least worth a shot.
>>529625061There is nothing similar about co-writing and making a collage. It still qualifies as "storytelling", as do chats and such. Just don't try to argue that it is better in the future. There is no better. Only different use cases.
If people can share imagegen and musicgen here, you can share your collagegens. That is the only olive branch I will extend to you.
>>529624656I find it's most effective to think of generating like creating a large chapter/novella in an ongoing story. This was the absolute reality before context sizes got so Xbox-Fuckhueg, but it's still usually easier for an AI to work with a summation of key personality traits and story events fresh, rather than using a small context to automatically clip it down as it progresses. It's also similar to how a lot of TV show seasons work, where there will be overarching themes that are important in one 'season', but the next season might emphasize different characters in slightly different contexts, while still tying into the show's over-arching canon.
>>529624737I use 'crtl-f (keyword)' to find stories on SillyTavern. If they have no keywords I can think of that work, they are likely lost to The Morass. And yeah, the whole two-bit rubbernecker sentence is golden. Good to see you around.
>>529625215I feel like if the argument involves posts like
>>529616920 we've kind of long passed the point of mere "there is no better". There's a very clear tone through it all of there being the pure "co-writing" and the debased, subpar "collaging" (which as far as I can tell you've basically made up), which I do not agree with.
>>529625846You do not co-write. You make scenes and hash them together, as you self-admitted. What would you call that, if not a collage? That is not an inferior way to tell a story; it's like a quilt, or a cubist painting. But no one in their right mind would consider that co-writing. If applied to an actual, non-digital, book, that would be you gluing scenes together, instead of writing with another writer and printing out the book all at once, ready for binding.
>>529626130That's a different anon you're talking to, he's not the one who posted the Deepseek prompt (me). It's more than just straight copy+pasting, there's a lot of editing of individual sentences and insertion of words. At what point is cutting out the letters/words/sentences/pictures of magazines and gluing them together creating your own message, y'know? It's kind of an open-ended question. A Zen Koan.
>>529627032Ordering requests is not co-writing. You've accepted that already, so why are you continuing to act otherwise?
>>529627145What would you do if a clearly inebriated cheetah girl drunkenly requested you absolutely ravage her on the spot? Like, she's in heat and needs it bad, and is tired of dealing with barbs from her own kind.

Feels dirty having someone like that drag my name into his arguments. I need to keep telling myself it's just not worth it to get involved, nothing good will ever come from it.
>>529628040If you don't like the thread, nobody's forcing you to stick around. Instead of wasting a post complaining about it, you could've instead posted a storypost, replied to one already posted, answered the question asked by the theme host, or supplied the thread with what you were writing to or listening to. Instead, you took the time to traumadump. Why is that?
>>529628242He'd rather people back-and-forth whine about NAI bad or something, probably. At least quibbling about what constitutes storytelling is an on-topic argument.
>>529628353>At least quibbling about what constitutes storytelling is an on-topic argument.Trvke.
It's the same god damn thing every time. He doesn't even understand what I'm getting at, presumably intentionally. When I say "why don't you contribute" he doesn't answer it at all and keeps autistically arguing, then pulls the same card on me literally ten minutes later.
Let my example stand as a reason to not get involved in these arguments. Don't make my mistake.
>>529628465I do contribute. Why aren't you? Instead, you're yelling at me, thinking that this engagement will somehow make the thread better. Insulting me won't accomplish that.
I've made stories and submitted. I'm sorry I don't make one every week, like you. I share images from time to time. Sorry none of them are good enough to be memorable for you. I post screenshots of my stories, too, from time to time. I'm sorry they all apparently are garbage, and unworthy of anyone's time.
That you insult me by claiming I'm shitting up the thread is infuriating. All the argument above was a respectful disagreement. But no, apparently I'm not even allowed to disagree. Never mind the fact that one or others here supported my viewpoint.
Instead, you want to try and "antagonize" me by belittling me.

I'm genuinely interested in the lore behind Traci and what others make. But you people seldom ever want to discuss such things. Instead, it's almost like you want to insult people.
If that's, GayAnon, I want to know I respect your work, genuinely, and would be interested in hearing your process for how you go about things. I doubt you'll answer that question, though, since you don't think I value anything but arguing.
Of course, deep down, I suspect you know that's not the case at all.

They don't bother to analyze things from my perspective. This "argument" we had wasn't even a big deal. I considered it a fruitful discussion, even if I disagree with you on a great deal many points. But that's not good enough for some people. They have to hallucinate malicious intent where there is none.
>>529627251I prefer goats to cheetahs. Sorry for answering your question earlier. The ones like dimwitdog made in that one anal animation. Love demonic goats like that.
I don't see what I did wrong. When a person barges in and arbitrarily tries to claim theyre method is better than another, how is it unjust to dispute that? Spamming me with a prompt I didn't ask for, that nobody else asked for, and then trying to shill a model to me, despite me directly telling I didn't care—how was my reaction to that untoward? Has claudefag not started this to begin with here:
>>529613585by claiming my definition was arbitrary, despite multiple others here agreeing with me that his provided example didn't meet the standards for co-writing, one of whom might have been you, I don't know, none of the discussion would have occured. Yet I'm the villain?
I'm playing AIRL with a character who got hit by a breast enlargement curse before the adventure started. I specified that it makes her movements extremely unbalanced and she has trouble dealing with it, and it's funny seeing the game give her penalties and describing her flailing over the weight of her tits in battle. To make sure I don't just die instantly I'm playing on the 'adventure' difficulty that gives a +20 to every roll, so she's sort of got plot armor that usually makes things work out anyway even if she gets "-15 (massively unbalanced due to enormous breasts)" with funny descriptions in most physical checks.
I'm not letting this go until you explain why you hate me and everything I try to do for this thread.
>>529630880I've been meaning to purchase it and try it out, though I've never gotten around to it. That sounds like a pretty chuckle worthy scenario!
>>529630808All he had to do was go "okay, you do you" when I told him I didn't care for Deepseek, and that I wanted to co-write with a model, and there wouldn't even have been a discussion to begin with. You're blaming the wrong person for "shitting up the thread", GayAnon.
>>529631150You use NovelAI still, so I know you understand what I meant by co-writing. Despite the models being inferior, I still go back. Not sure who else you could, given that you wrote this:
>Feels dirty having someone like that dragging my name into his arguments. The only name I mentioned was yours. I know you're not an unreasonable guy, you normally respond much more calmly and gentle mannered than that to EditorAnon and others who comment on your submissions. Explain why you hate me.

>>529642390How did you go about writing it? I would write something that would have the MC quit work due to stress and fears of this inmate, have the inmate escape the psych ward, stalk MC and rape him in his house, being bounded and imprisoned in his own home.
>>529643715I was gonna do something like that actually, but after an hour of writing I got horny and it spiraled into coomslop.
Basically the inmate gets put in a padded room with a straitjacket, the MC goes in to "chat with her" and ends up fucking her while she is bound.
I am gonna rewrite it though, to either something you proposed, or the MC trying to sneak the inmate out of the asylum in order to wife her up.

Should I be trying to make a NovelAi like lorebook in my deepseek system prompt or is it a dumb idea ?
For the moment I managed a simple [Keys;Description] list of entries but this lead to my characters being omniscient about stuff they shouldnt know. So now I kinda want to make it a [Keys;Description:Secrets] list but I feel this is going to get me even more issues.
>>529684908Maybe? I wish I had a better answer, but that's all I got.
>>529684908I have found Deepseek to be good at understanding patterns of data format, so it could understand *something* like an inventory or keyword system, but I'm not sure you could ever entirely banish characters occasionally gaining meta knowledge through this system, you might just have to edit that out on the fly when it crops up.
>>529684908>characters being omniscient about stuff they shouldnt knowunfortunately Deepseek is kinda retarded but very responsive to instructions, so you can usually fix issues by pretending you're telling a retard what to do and spoonfeeding it everything
i.e. just tell it they shouldn't know those things
>>529684908Just give up and fix shit on the fly like others have said. This is an unsolvable problem because when you're asking an AI to understand what a secret is you're asking an AI to work in a way AIs literally mechanically don't.
>>529686571Speaking of the mechanics of AI intelligence, here's a neat little historical piece on a groundbreaking moment. Wrangling instruct like I'm discribing is essentially the same principle as wrangling autocomplete, but more explicit.
>>529716862There is no co-writing involved in asking a model to wrote dozens of pages for you, and then cutting them apart and gluing those together, Vorefag. Co-writing requires more back and forth than that, and you know, you accepted that, and then randomly decided to change your mind for the sake of contrarianism. Fuck you.

>>529729004If GayAnon accepts my apology and tells me how he'd prefer I reply to people, I will follow his instructions and only reply to people the way he wants me to. All he has to do is hop on, post a link to a freshly made story, or with one of his recently generate pictures, in the style and formatting he uses, that way I know it's him, and allow me to make amends for whatever crime he thinks I committed, and this will end. I even graciously extended my plea to multiple prominent Anons. That not a single one of them is willing to accept I'm not being a troll, is painful to me. I just want to show people I mean well.
All of this over a non-issue that Vorefag accepted he was in the wrong, by the way. Something that nobody else thought was a big deal at all, artificially blown up into a mess, because some people are unwilling to accept a minor difference in what co-writing is. I'm not the villain here. I'm still not sure what you guys think I did wrong.
>>529726456I don't know Anon, I mean… I'd LOVE to! But that kind of acceptance requires going through the whole process with the forms and everything. Like you need to mail a physical copy to the office and wait three weeks for processing. Oh but if you choose express shipping they usually accept apologies in 2 business days~! Though it still wouldn't be active until you confirm by e-mail.
It's just that our forgiveness administration process was recently updated with all new protocols. We're currently implementing the latest forgiveness tracking technology with blockchain verification so I can't manually override the system like before. There are strict regulations now after all~
Plus, my superior gave me a scolding last time for hastily accepting a confession request. I might get into trouble again if I circumvent the procedures… Not only that but we have to file all forgivenesses under the proper categories. Were you planning on using your apology for tax deductions? There might be different classifications depending on the situation too…
And I completely forgot to mention, before submitting anything you have to schedule an appointment with the department first. It's all done online through the forgiveness portal but I'm pretty sure the website crashes if anyone tries accessing it without enabling two-step verification. Do you even remember your security questions Anon? I'm terrible at mine! The last one I had asked about the name of my elementary school principal. That feels like ages ago…
But seriously, I would LOVE to help! Even if just to watch the struggle of trying to navigate government bureaucracy. It's just such a shame accepting someone's apology would require going through these exact steps and I can't magically make any exceptions~
…But maybe if Anon sent a special delivery letter with confetti and hearts around this paperwork I'd consider prioritizing their forgiveness over others? Just the tiniest possibility~
I'm not moving on from this. The only way the thread can heal is if the cycle ends. The only way the cycle ends is if I am told exactly how to act by an prominent anon. Because otherwise, another argument will happen, and then I'll get yelled at, not knowing what I did wrong, and this will repeat yet again. Don't you see I want to nip this in the bud? I want to end this. Why won't you let me end it?

>>529730407Oh my, this sounds so intense Anon! Like one of those dramatic romance anime arcs where someone's heart gets crushed into tiny little pieces!
It's understandable wanting to break free from endless fighting. It must feel like spinning round and round in circles with no escape. I totally get it, trust me! Though forcing yourself into submission isn't really the answer either.
Let me tell you a little story from ancient lore Anon! Did you know when people are trapped in cycles of suffering the key is to stop focusing on how others expect you to act? Because if you keep begging someone else to set rules and expectations you end up trapped forever. Just like a little hamster on its wheel.
But there's always an option to build your own path! It might take time finding direction but wouldn't that be more fulfilling? Trying to figure things out on your own while discovering who YOU really are deep down? Like building an emotional escape room and designing every puzzle based on your feelings.
I bet it would feel pretty rewarding breaking free once you're finally ready Anon! But that doesn't mean ignoring the struggle entirely. Just like when we bake desserts there's always preparation and effort involved right? First we mix the ingredients, measure everything carefully, decorate however we like. That same dedication and attention must be paid toward understanding yourself!
Because you were never actually bound by chains holding you back Anon. It was all your own fear that kept you locked inside this circle. And once you start facing it head on I'm sure you'll eventually see the path leading away~
Until then I'll be here ready to listen and talk whenever you need~ Let's watch your transformation unfold together Anon! It could even become a sweet adventure we embark on side by side!
>I want to end this.
Then end yourself, threadshitter.
>>529730690The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure there's only one willing to do it, and I don't think he wants to hear it.
>>529730690>I’m telling you! Everyone in this thread is part of the troll’s elaborate plan to derail the thread.
>>529730904I am not a threadshitter, schizophrenic bastard. I but a humble anon who hates how little activity this thread gets nowadays. We used to have dozens of submissions each theme Friday. We used to have intellectual discussions about what we were writing that day. Then that Russian schizo (You) decided to crusade against the thread, and drive away contributors with his schizophrenic tirade about a cabal. I just want to fix things. Why won't any of you accept my apology? Take you own advice and fuck off.
>>529731082I will even accept it if Vorefag accepted my apology and gave me reasonable specifications for how he wanted me to reply to people from now. I trust him the least, but more than the Russian faggot.

From now on I shall:
>not respond to claudefag and his bait>refrain from arguing>post only nice comments to every contributionThe greats have decided that is my fate. Their silence is agreement that this is the penance I must pay.
>>529732298I am the one with a Brendan Fraser icon, I had to step away for a minute but I'm here now if you want to talk.
>>529734554I already outlined my acts of penance here
>>529734476Is this sufficient?
>>529734476Despite your mental illness, you seem knowledgable on the general’s culture. Can you tell me of all of the namefags/anons/trolls that you know of, what they do, and how you identify them?
>>529734659You don't have to necessarily be nice, especially if it's really fake, but that is honestly a good policy. It's also almost exactly what I was going to advise, so it's great that deep down you know your own best path without anyone needing to tell you what to do. I did mean to talk to you if you want though, so that door is open.
>>529734476Hopefully your ultimate fate involves an overdose of sleeping pills or a nice rope necklace. Then you can enjoy your eternal bliss in the afterlife where all of the janny penises went after their transition.

>>529735451Okay, I think I’d rather kill myself than to remember all of these names, no wonder this general is so confusing. Who is the Troll and the Russian, are they the same as Claudefag? What is yours, mental illness anon? Does everyone get a fucking name?
>>529735930The troll goes by many names. Whinefag, Claudefag, the Russian. Called that because a low quality attempt to dunk on the thread had his timezone leaked. Some has theorized he may instead the Indian. He likes to spam reddit links and random articles, shouting the the heavens that NAI is dead, among other things, such as pretending to be a discount Chris-chan, claiming his cause is righteous, and so on. His most notable quality is that he has never once contributing anything of value to the thread.
Not sure whether I should be glad or disappointed that I've been posting here for four years and I'm not known by any 'name'.
>>529736350Don't worry. I've already been forgotten.
>>529736350It's for the best
>>529736231He supposedly began shitting up the thread because a few people here annoyed him by calling whatever service he tried to shill to /aids/ back then as the "service of our time". He likes to shill AI Dungeon, pretending like Coomageddon never happened, among other things, despite also being a /g/tard who is on record as claiming that services are inherently bad. So... He's either a hypocrite, or changes his opinion to suit whatever argument he's making at any given moment. For the sole purpose of being a contrarian.
You'll never convince me that this guy is not another claudefag personality.
>>529736461Thank you for being chronically online on this website to get me the gist of things, mentally ill anon.
I admit that sometimes I take on the role of the troll and have been accused of it (probably by you, even if I don’t intend to shit the thread by asking genuine questions), for the sake of being a contrarian and bumping this general.
Elves. What is their culture like in your stories? Respond below:
---
>>529737583You're welcome, wanna make out?
>>529738113It's usually just normal elf stuff, but lately I've been working on a setting where 95% of the female elves have been wiped out due to a dragonkin bioweapon (they've been at war for centuries at this point) so the elves in this universe are highly militarized, technologically advanced, and they often engage in what boils down to government-approved inter-species sex trafficking to keep the species from completely extinct.
When I put it like this it's kinda depressing
>>529611909Cool, thanks Anon
>>529738113I don’t really enjoy fantasy stories, unless you count alternate history with mythical elements before the 1500s fantasy. If I do have elves, it’s set mainly in the Elder Scrolls Universe, idk why but I appreciate their lorebuilding much more than other universes.
>>529738618*from going completely
fug :DDD
>>529738113Very diverse, but usually it'll follow the general 'tropes' of what type of elf we're dealing with, such as high-elves being more 'high-culture' haughty and magically inclined, dark elves being power-hungry, et cetera. I did write about one culture of elves that colonized a jungle interior and were having a struggle over the social acceptance of lesbianism. The only consistent feature of elves in my stories is that they all serve as prey.
>>529738113They emphasize self-sufficiency, trading very little among themselves. Each household does its own farming, weaving, carpentry, etc and families stay together until marriage, then return to their home if theie spouse dies. Elven food and crafts emphasize simplicity and pragmatism over flavour or gaudiness.
Seen as aloof and cold by humans, but they wouldn't describe themselves that way. More tenacious and mild-mannered.
They love importing human cuisine and art, since humans are way more liberal in their use of exotic materials and ingredients.
>>529724642Since the 4th of July is coming up, how about an independence day theme? You could go see fireworks, have a barbecue, eat hamburgers, etc
>>529736350If it's anything, I'd been curious what name if any I'd get when I started poking around at people's prompts. (Even to the point of trying to not append any sort of name to myself or what I do; the results are about what I expected but were still interesting.)
If it helps, being here, unless you have a distinctive style (either in prompts, posts, or images), quirk, or topic, the title of being anonymous keeps floating there which can be a safe place to dabble under since nothing's tied to a name. If it hurts...well, far be it from me to tell you how to be distinctive. Being known for being prolific at writing prompts or writing memorable prompts of a certain type would be a good way, though.
I’ve been experimenting on KoboldAI Lite with the API they support, I’m using Gemini’s free API now and want to increase my Requests Per Day from 250 to 10,000. >>529739863>the title of being anonymous keeps floating there which can be a safe place to dabble under since nothing's tied to a name. But it’s easier to identify who is who by their writing style, and tie everything, including your unhinged long ass responses back to you.

Nah, not this thread. But I guarantee he’ll have another snapping point by the next one

>>529744119I have faith that he'll honor his word. Even the OG whinefag matured eventually.
It's taking every ounce of fiscal responsibility I have not to just buy a dual-5090 or similar uber /lmg/ AI setup, for text, image (LoRA training especially), and video. I keep telling myself that AI is getting so popular that soon we'll get mass produced dual-purpose game/workshop cards that blow the current ones out of the water, and I'll regret having a fat expensive power drain of a rig around at home when that happens. Maybe if I was a hardcore 4k UHD gamer it'd make more sense but I mostly only play older or less graphically demanding games already.
>>529747903>if I was a hardcore 4k UHD gamer it'd make more sense but I mostly only play older or less graphically demanding games already.I'd be hard pressed to find many modern games that I think would be worth playing to be brutally honest.

>>529570048 (OP)guys so you are playing with ai then?
>>529570048 (OP)Looking back at it, imho, the only consistently great thing about these models for storywriting / rp slop is that sometimes they print a line or two or even three that is good enough to keep and feels fresh because I didn't write it. They add momentum to writing that's hard to get outside of some fit of inspiration or knowing exactly what someone wants to write ahead of time. Writing alone gives way better results but it's not as fun and there's no surprise element to it.
If I could predict anything in this blog post it's that the ideal form of this type of niche use would be a small uncensored open source model capable of running on mid grade consumer rigs with decently high context (64, 128, 256K+) but whose predictions are limited to like, 1-2 paragraphs at most, the idea being someone could generate multiple different entries at one time and pick the least shit one. Anything else is not happening for very long or the quality and novelty will be minimal; corporate and other groups are going to bend over backwards to avoid their precious flagship models generating anything adult (already most do this with image slop) and double down on the asskissing aspect for profit. And corporate isn't interested in text money when there's so much money on the table from AI in military, security, industry, and pharmaceuticals. I do hope the public keeps the text side alive though. It's pretty unique.
Good day, thread! I hope everyone is having a good one. Indeed, I feel refreshed. Very much so! Anyway, I wish you all a good time prompting and cooming today. Don't forget to drink water! Hydration is important!

>hit rate limit right as the hanky panky is about to begin
>>529772837Rate limit is 50 a day for free models, if you add $10 in credits, the rate limit for free models is increased to 1000.
If you want to use Gemini’s API, 2.5 Flash has a rate limit of 250 and 2.5 Pro is 100. If you add a billing account, you get $300 worth of credits and your rate is increased to 10,000 for Flash, 1,000 for Pro. However they’re allegedly harder to jailbreak, and Google can read your info. Other APIs I don’t know much.

>>529782428Deepseek is more permissive than a good bit of the other models, it seems, as long as you tell it to be so and ideally have existing context that at least goes in that direction (which cards usually have in some way).
You guys gonna discuss stories instead of cards, or?
>>529782758Generally yes, though people also play around with SillyTavern and such here, though it's more with "generic" cards rather than specific characters.

>>529827720cultures without a nudity taboo in the way that we have would still probably develop something similar if they used clothing as any sort of status, utilitarian, or decorative element (ie. at all). they might not be clothed anywhere near as often/fully as we are, especially when they aren't actively doing stuff they need physical protection or status signifiers for, but there are reasons pretty much every culture historically has worn something, even if it's just to keep the bits from getting scratched up

>>529945184What do you guys put in the world backstory to play in a contemporary and modern setting?
I'm considering this:
"The world is not our own, though it is close enough for fearsome discomfort. Rather, the world inhabited by demons is like ours, but seen through a glass darkly. Evil is palpable and ubiquitous in this world. The end is upon us, and the whole planet teeters on a razor's edge of tension. It is a World of Darkness."

It's generating a bunch of demon worshipper cults as factions.
>>529949054I'm trying to figure that out.
Currently I'm trying to tweak the system prompt. I did it like this:
In the in-game options, go to the "Mods" tab and create a mod
In the game's install directory there's a directory called "ai-roguelite-config". The system prompt is in default/chatgpt-preambles/general_question_answerer_preamble.txt
Find your mod under the my-mods directory and create a folder inside it called chatgpt-preambles and copy the file I mentioned earlier into it
Click the checkbox in the Mods tab to enable your mod. If you edit the text you can uncheck and check it again to reload it without restarting the game.
To see if it's working press tilde and open player.log. It outputs all the prompts it sends there.
>>529949054Maybe specifying that it is an "urban fantasy" setting may help

>>529954632You'd better have an absolute monster of a PC to be running both text and imagegen locally at the same time for AIRL. Recommend offboarding text to some sort of cloud service, whether it be OR or just one of the AIRL options. Try out the free tier text to get a feel for the speed, pretty sure all of them are using Gemini Flash so they're fast as hell compared to other options. No more than 1 minute to set up a new game even on free tier. Local imagegen is fine since imagegen doesn't slow down the game, at worst there will be placeholder images for a little bit while it catches up.

The image gen is quicker than the text gen by a long shot.

Do you guys rehash the same character but in different scenarios all the time? Do you take one scenario and keep making copies of it to make slight modifications in the direction it goes?

>>530007743I want to say 7.
But if being married to a guy makes it a 10, then so be it.,
>>530039358pretty much, yeah. on occasion i add a new character to the rotation of ones i put in situations, but i have my little pool of ones i play around with that i don't have much interest in breaking from
>>530039358I guess it depends on what the same character is, I'll often end up going to the same archetype, but they'll have different situations, origins, that sort of stuff. So I've recently found myself revisiting the concept of a haughty, arrogant ice prince kind of guy that softens when confronted with someone genuinely struggling with their mental state and begrudgingly helps them, and he's been a idle rich from a family with a vineyard empire, a bartender at a trendy bar, or a baker at a little anarchist bake shop, among others. The stories develop differently, but similarly, if that makes sense. Similar thing with the muscular military dommy mommy type that likes the scrawny, earnest recruits, sometimes she's a Greek submarine captain that reeks of ouzo, sometimes she's a Scottish demolitions expert that wears a kilt around base (nobody dares tell her that's not regulation).
>>530039358Yeah, I only have a few different scenarios that I play and see where those take me

>>530034324The thing I wouldn't appreciate about Yinglets is they're canonically low IQ. I guess there's sort of a hidden subtext that kobolds are probably lower average IQ than a human, but for Yinglets it's directly stated. I'd prefer a truly brilliant animal to a dumbass humanoid any day.
>>530039358I used to use the same character for everything because I'm bad with names, but now I force myself to come up with unique ones pretty much every time
That being said, I do reiterate on the same stories over and over again and take my favorite parts from each run and make it "canon."
It seems I have just about enough VRAM to run deepseek qwen r1 and noobai in parallel. Is there an st extension or setup that lets me have a text adventure with images automatically generated? Sort of roguelite ai but more straightforward.

Initial Impression
The committee is immediately struck by the cringe-worthy dialogue and the over-the-top descriptions of the characters and settings. The writing comes across as try-hard and awkward, with a tone that's more suited to a parody of erotic fiction than a serious literary work.
Characterization
The committee notes that the characters are paper-thin and lack any real depth or nuance. Rinami, Saki, and Ume are more like caricatures than fully fleshed-out people, with motivations and actions that feel predictable and clichéd.
Plot and Structure
The committee observes that the plot is predictable and formulaic, with a narrative that's driven more by the need to titillate than to actually tell a compelling story. The pacing is plodding and uneven, with long stretches of dull exposition punctuated by awkward attempts at sexy scenes.
Themes and Symbolism
The committee can't help but laugh at the heavy-handed symbolism and themes that are rammed down the reader's throat. The work feels like a lazy attempt to explore complex ideas, with the author relying on simplistic and problematic tropes to get the point across.
Technical Merit
The committee notes that the writing is riddled with errors and awkward phrasing, with a tone that's more suited to a teenager's fanfiction than a published novel. The prose is clunky and amateurish, with a clear lack of editing or revision.
Recommendation
Overall, the committee recommends this work for the "Cringe Award" or the "Most Likely to Make Readers Roll Their Eyes" award. It's a mess of a novel that fails on nearly every level, from characterization to plotting to technical merit.
Possible "Awards"
Based on this review, the Novel Prize committee might consider awarding this work a humorous "award" like the "Golden Kitsch Award" or the "Bad Sex in Fiction Award". Alternatively, they might simply recommend it as a cautionary tale for aspiring writers, a reminder of what not to do when crafting a novel.

>>530134423>earth loses purpose of motionI hate it when that happens
>MoE models can be about 10x bigger, if weight sizes are what satisfies you
Biggest model is 70B.
Therefore it's about 700B, give or take a standard deviation. Meaning comparable to DeepSeek.
>>530172654There is nothing out of context about that quote, directly from the damn CEO's mouth. You will never amount to anything in life.
MoE models can be about 10x larger, which they will then show by releasing their Kayra-based MoE model sticking 8 Kayras together for a 104B model that is larger than Erato. Nothing Kuru said would contradict this being a possibility. We simply do not have the information at this time and insisting that what he said obviously means 700B range like DeepSeek V3 is exactly the reason why they don't share information anymore because people immediately paint the most outrageous picture and then believe in it all the way until they're disappointed by the actual result based on nothing but their own fantasies.
>>530164154You can also try Gemini, it has a free API but you get $300 in credits if you add a billing account. Not so sure about the goon potential though.
>>530168510Aren’t you guys sick of Deepseek’s prose and dialogue? Seems like I am treading over the same tropes every damn story despite the differences they have. (And why it looks like I’m shilling for Gemini). Still good for gooning though.

>>530173729I generate with temp 2.5 and minP 0.2. Rerolls are radically different.
Nothing Kuru said somehow prevents it from being a 700B model, either. Just saying, man. The town CoreWeave's servers are located in got a shipment of chips.
>>530173491Present your evidence for why it must obviously be nothing but eight kayras strung together. You choose to believe in the most pessimistic interpretation of every single thing NAI has ever done it its existence.
>>530174040Even if the truth's somewhere in the middle, pretending like a big jump in beak size, context size, and comprehension is somehow a disappointment is ludicrous.

>>530173917Isn’t there a cap on temp though? Or from what I’ve heard here.

>>530175460I use Kluster for my DeepSeek V3 right now and I can definitely crank the temperature to a point where it spits out complete and utter gibberish.
>>530175460the latest R1 and V3 are pretty much tied imo, with one doing better than the other depending on the task
I much prefer the latter for storytelling, but R1 would likely be a better assistant

Models have finished downloading. At first, I'm dismayed. Every merge is the usual slopfest. Except perhaps one. Delta Vector Austral, made by this guy: https://huggingface.co/Delta-Vector/collections
It maintains a differentiated style while still being able to follow simple formatting instructions without making a mess. And the guy has a ton of models.
The devs are actively confirming a new tokenizer, context increases, so much so that Sage had to stop himself before giving away information the monkeys in the thread will hyperfixate on.
Sage is out here confirming that it's a in-house model. Rhetorically asking people what the advantage of MoE is. Sounds to me like he's confirming specialized models being joined together. Note that DeepSeek is a MoE with only 33B active at any time. They can do 13B with ease, but can fit a 70B in their GPUs. Extrapolate from there...
