I still wish we knew more about their day-to-day life on the ARK before the tragedy. Last few years have given us valuable insight, but we still don't know if Shadow had his own room or what.
It's sad to think that's the only real physical affection Shadow's gotten in his life, and since his heart's been broken he doesn't trust anyone else to give him that physical affection.

Alright here's some information, not all of it though because there really is a lot. The follow up to Sonic Frontiers will finally ditch the boost system to something more like Adventure and the 2D games. Momentum and rolling physics, etc. Expect the spindash to return. Kishimoto has always been a fan of the Sonic Adventure and Classic games but Sonic Team has been pressured to keep using the boost by SEGA corp. Sonic Team is finally getting more levarage to do what they want. Open world will stay but platforming sections will be better integrated into the actual world itself.
There's way more to this but that's the basic gist of what's going on, there's also more misc. information about internal discussions within SEGA and Frontiers development information, etc. Just thought I'd geat ahead of the curve and post some things here so that when the rest comes out you know it's real. Just remember you heard it here first.

Knuckles should have other media dedicated to him, such as comic/manga spinoffs or animations/TV shows like the Knuckles series. It should respect his status as the guardian of the M.E., maybe give Penders the middle finger and elaborate on the mysteries of Angel Island and his clan.
Blaze should have some Switch exclusives that are similar Sonic Rush. Smaller games, preferably fleshing out her kingdom and her dimension, giving her new enemies exclusive to her so she doesn't have to share a recolored Eggman with Silver. Maybe give her a rival, her own Shadow.
