An important announcement from Starlight Stage:

Starting in October, some development and operational structures will change. As of now, the addition of new idols and new events will start ending.

The PC version of SS and the Starlight Spot app will end services as of 8/21 15 JST.

At of the end of July, the Haruhi cover songs will no longer be sold.
At the end of October, the rest of the cover songs won't be sold.

As of 8/21 15 JST, the Cinderella Theater and the radio calisthenics 3D commus will no longer be available.

As of 9/3, new idols, new songs, and the dress shop will stop getting updates.

The final story commu will come in late August.
The final memorial commu will end in early August.
No more episode commus.
The final event commus will come on 9/3.
The final extra commus will come in early September.
There are no more business commus to come.

As of now, the following have no more updates coming:

Changes to events:
LIVE Infinity in late September will be slightly different

I know people wouldn't like it to be used like this, but the only way for less experienced devs to learn is to be given ambitious projects and set them lose. So what they could do is go with a studio that doesn't have anything too time consuming right now, pluck some ecperd leads from some popular projects and inject them into into it so that they can keep things in scope and plan things out properly and be able to mentor the newer guys, and by using an established brand like CG they know they're working on a game that should be recognized and pay off. This way they kill two birds with one stone.
