The setting isn't interesting and has become increasingly nonsensical as the writers lazily use it to push their pet issues.
None of the plotlines are interesting, the ones that haven't been abandoned or retconned anyway.
The "gameplay" isn't interesting.
The grind sure as fucking isn't interesting.
We don't just have no pandering, we have active anti-pandering.
Elements that originally attracted casual observers like draphs have been drastically eroded.
We are now greedy compared to alternatives rather than generous.
The one thing we arguably still have going for us is the art, and that's been declining too.

Granblue has fallen so far behind its competitors it's insurmountable. There is no future for it. The only thing that could possibly save it as a hail mary sequel. And we've all seen how Shadowverse 2 turned out. Cygames is a goddawful company carried only by being at the right place at the right time and the undeserved momentum and goodwill that came from it.
