It surprises me in a game with power creep like this one they're willing to release a character over 2.5 years in that's just straight up, unambiguously garbage. I feel like in most of the gachas I've played, the characters considered garbage are usually released near the start and the new characters just keep getting better and better to convince you to spend money. I wonder what could be their goal with this. I mean I guess most people were going to be skipping her anyway because summer is coming, and don't get me wrong, great design at least. But I feel like the only purpose a character like this serves is to pad the roster so you have less chance of getting spooked by one of the good characters. The more garbage they stick in non-limited the more likely you are to pull the garbage on accident and then be like great, that's a waste of an SSR.

Lmao this game has practically zero power creep compared to most other gachas. For the first 1-2 years one of the main complaints was that they never released anything worth pulling. Sora is a return to normality.

This game makes money on skins, not character power. That's why the rates, pity system, and wishlist are so generous. They are likely pacing power creep to keep the game going longer. There's only so many ways you can do power creep before you're all out of options and end up just repeating the same effects with bigger numbers.

OL are the stat lines in pic. Every piece of gear can have 3 lines of extra stats. Its the main way to increase power in the end game. The stats are gacha. The currency you use to roll for them are custom modules (people call them rocks), which you get from Special Interception.

Yes Special Interception is the same thing as this. Its a higher tier of bosses in that same section of the menu where gravedigger is. You unlock it later on after clearing a certain campaign stage.
