You might as well just ask "what if Serachrolas flung Dark Rance back in time to take his father's place?" and the answer would probably be he manages to win up until 03, where his personality differences make the war against Helman a lot harder. The Leazas Liberation Army wouldn't have won without the green rape monkey's risky leadership.
Getting to Leazas Castle too late = Jill fully awakens and Chaos is lost. Then the timeline diverges and who knows what happens. He probably ends up having to ally with the Shepherds as a guerilla force against the monster army since there's no other army in the world that could realistically hope to oppose them.

The Chaos seal was broken because Rance got there with the treasures and Lia, so this part entirely depends on how or if Guts can even solve the Hikari case. 03 retcon in Am was already doing her thing in Free City before the Helman invasion, so chances are he might get "recruited" by her at this point in time.

Or okay, here's my long shot schizo theory: if Helman wins the war but can't revive Jill themselves, eventually years later Xavier will revive in Japan with nobody to stop him. It's possible Xavier might just join them and help bring Jill back since he dislikes Kayblis and has no loyalty to Hornet or her father.

I don't think Rance's path would be very different from Luffy's, since many arcs in One Piece involve a woman asking for help. Of course, Rance won't be there to save Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji. Another interesting DSR bug, seems to be the same in nature as the double Leila one. The Lei chain of events starts again after I've already fused him with Rance, but before I character clear him. You can fuse this new Lei with Rance, so theoretically you can get Rance to a very high Maou level by farming Lei.
I don't remember encountering this in my playthrough of the previous version of the mod, I cleared him first before fusing him with Rance back then.

You defeat every single Demon lords (including Warg), raise 1000000 troops and then march into Monster realm to rape Kekblis. If your health during the fight drop below 50% you can't get the ending.
IIRC you have to do at least 3 double suppressions to have enough time to get the total troop to 1 million, and that's with the Hanny King bonus. Don't think it's possible without the bonus.

TEN YEARS. Two days ago, it has been ten years since the event that changed /haniho/ forever. For anyone not around at the time, a history lesson.

/haniho/ was formed in the early 2010s by Steiner, known at the time as Ludo-Rathowm (hia translation of Rudrathaum). He announed he was going to translate Rance VI and later added 5D to that as well. At the time, only four AliceSoft games were translated: SR, Daibanchou, Rance I and Rance 02. Official localizations did not exist.

While translations for Rance VI and 5D were ongoing, a new translator stepped up: TulipGoddessMaria, or just Maria for short.
She decided to make a translation of Rance III as she got tired of waiting for the guys that did I and 02 to make it. She joined together with Steiner and started Rancetranslations, later known as 2.0 translations.

Eventually, III got translated and later IV was announced and translated as well. VI and 5D got next to no updates.

Soon it had been a few years and III, IV, 4.1 and 4.2 were all translated without any updates on 5D and VI. Steiner claimed little time and harddrive problems for the lack of updates.

Around 2013, a new translator reared his head: Arunaru. He worked on a translation for Toushin Toshi and then Toushin Toshi II. He had no connection to 2.0 translations, but he did post here just like the others.

In 2014, he announced a translation of Kichikuou Rance. The work he did was fast, but he got criticism that he was changing established terms and names such as Demon Lord for Demon King and Gilles for Gele. He was generally dick about it.

After this, he announced he would do a translation of Rance VI, which was STILL not out then and received nearly no updates. Steiner had brought some people in to translate the games in his stead, but basically nothing happened.

So Aru's decision to announce Rance VI came as a godsend for many of us who had been hoping to play this game for like 4 years now.

Also, since around 2013 or so, Maria had stated she started a fantranslation for Rance Quest. Shortly afterwards she announced she got hired as a translator for MangaGamer and was going to primarily focus her attention there. She was still going to translate Quest though, just at a slower pace. She even posted weekly updates. Everyone loved it. On top of that, she later even announced a translation of Rance 5D.

In 2015, /haniho/ would seem to have their best year ever. At the rate things were going, Rance 5D and VI would release within weeks of eachother. Not only that, but Rance 03 would be releasing in August of that year. However, there were some rumblings.

Rumors had it that MangaGamer would be announcing an AliceSoft partnership at AnimeExpo that year. And when Arunaru suddenly, mere weeks before finishing, announced a pause on the VI translation, people got concerned.

Then, a random post in /haniho/ said "MangaGamer is going to announce an official localization of Beat Blades Haruka". Aru replied to it with "Why would they announced Haruka of all things?". This post got met with skepticism, to the point it even became the OP of the next thread.

Then, July 4th 2015 happened and MangaGamer DID announced Haruka. No Rance. Maria then posted an update to 2.0 translations.

This is the post Maria made. She stated Rance VI and 5D and Quest were off the table and instead you were going to get Haruka. And if you wanted any chance of the games you actually want, you would just need to BUY HARUKA.

The community was, as you may expect, incredibly fucking pissed off. Not only that, but Maria clarified that she indeed never ever intended for Quest to be available as a fantranslation. Those years of weekly updates? Meaningless. Buy this other fucking game instead.

The pushback was enormous. Shortly afterwards, Maria and Aru stopped posting openly in /haniho/. Steiner had not been seen for quite some time at that point.

If you weren't there, nor with the knowledge that VI and 5D DID eventually get translated a year later, the absolute gutpunch this was is indescribable. It felt like you were betrayed by your closest ally. Steiner was unable to get anything done, Aru was a contrarian asshole, but Maria was always beloved. And yet she never even considered just bringing up the idea to the community. It would have certainly been accepted.

Maria, Aru and Steiner are still translating for MangaGamer and other companies.

As I stated, Rance VI and 5D did receive a translation in late 2016, but it also has name and term changes that are now considered canon. Even now, many oldfags here refuse to use them and get a visceral reaction at seeing Fiend and Jill.

Since then, we had translations for several other games as well and, with one exception, every Rance game has a translation now. 03's even released, fittingly, this year.

And I would love to end on a reasonably positive note, but AliceSoft's not releasing anything nowadays. How often I see either nothing under "Upcoming" or some shitty nukige nobody cares about. And /haniho/ is deader then ever. This thread has less than 300 posts and is 3 days old. In the past, even during our deadest moments a whole thread would last that long.

At least we did get to see somewhat of a revival of fanTLs recently: Galzoo, Only You, and Daiakuji. Man, remember when Galzoo was going to get a "translation"? And that never happened? And that the guy, now girl, that was going to do that translation also was a huge Maria apologist post Haruka announcement? And he called /haniho/ a secret edgy rape club? And then he translated nukige "Please bang my wife" for MG? Man, some keks were had.

Anyway, if you read all of this, thanks. I don't come here very much anymore, but I just wanted to pay my respects to the Haruka event.

02 is six hours long and the reason it wasn't mentioned was because it's the same as the original 1990 Rance II but with modern art and a slightly different script, meanwhile 01 and 03 are actual remakes. I wouldn't recommend skipping it but a lot of people do hate it so it's your choice.
