There will be a dark world adventure where (You), Susie and Ralsei are on their own, and find the Knight again at the end. There will be a final clash between Susie and the Knight. As a baseline, he'll shield the Knight, marking that Kris is definitely betraying the party for whatever final goal Knight has, and they'll leave together. If you picked Susie options frequently and took her all over Hometown to do stuff (most importantly hanging by the lake and taking her to the diner) Kris will jump in to shield Susie, but also the Knight's attack will be much stronger and knock Kris unconscious, after which the Knight leaves and Kris is left to be taken care of by Susie and Ralsei.

Getting an Egg prevents you from getting the COMPLETE WITHOUT ISSUE achievements for each chapter.
If you don't have any achievements when completing Chapter 4 of the Playstation version of Deltarune, Gaster notes this and wonders about you. The achievements are all easy to get and if you ever get one you need to create a separate account and rebuy the game.

My theory is that Kris is working with the Knight because it's Dess, and Dess somehow was trapped in the dark world in Knight form protecting Kris from some fuck up he did all those years ago. The Dess disappearance case also probably got Asgore fired from the police and caused his marriage to fail making Kris feel even guiltier. Kris was so depressed before the start of the game he finally decided his life was worthless and not more valuable than Dess, and Kris' actions have been about somehow allowing Dess to come back to the light world by trading places with her.

But then Susie got mixed in, they hit it off, and now Kris finally has some happiness in his life and Hometown no longer feels like a prison and protecting Susie actually feels like he's already somewhat making up for failing Dess all those years ago. Yeah that's also kinda the funny part. Slow burn applies to Krusie. It's taken 4 chapters to build up and we've still got to get the big poignant moment which will be once Susie figures out the betrayal and how do they evolve from there. Suselle has been absolutely lightning fast, their scenes are just about pushing it out the door in as little dialogue and time as possible.
