I'm confused about dark fountains.
Tenna and really several ch3 characters make it seem like dark fountains don't really affect darkners except to let them interact with Lightners like people.
Tenna would rather be in a place where he is used and loved by a Lightner that has no dark fountain, than be in castle town.
But on the other hand, at the end of ch2 weird route, Spamton NEO describes Kris as "trying to steal the fountain", and if you listen to him [Become NEO] in the basement he hopes nobody 'betrays' him soon which refers to you sealing the fountain.
So what gives? Why does Spamton care so much about having the fountain?
King also actively coveted the fountain in ch1 but I think that was because he wanted revenge on Lightners and thought causing the roaring by having a lot of fountains would accomplish that.
