Assuming katanas are 1-handed weapons, katanas have better ATK than 1-handed swords and better MAG than 1-handed staffs, too bad TZALIKman can't use shields, so for pure TZALIK spam, 2-handed staffs are better.
Also, Samurai's probably can't use shields either if TZALIKman is any indication. Samurais also weren't known for using shields historically.

Generally you respawn an abyss by wheeling back to the first section of it. If that doesn't work (you might not realize this but WizDaph is somewhat buggy haha!) then go through the Bad Ending in the respective abyss you wish to respawn and things should be back if their timers are up. The pier bone is monthly.
The only other notable spawns off the top of my head are the Nourishing daily by the abyss 1 GWO, the Mimic Cum daily at the end of floor 6, and the two monthly Mana Elixir chests, one in the unlocked Ship treasure hatch room after True End in Abyss 2 and one in the south of Zone 9 in Abyss 3. Besides chest spawns, quest rewards are typically monthly and Bonepicker's bone is weekly

Yumia strays too far from the usual Atelier games and made the combat and alchemy too easy and braindead. Scenery is nice in Yumia and that's the best I can say about it. Open world is just your standard ubislop checklist ticking.

It's RNG fest at 1st phase as he can either roar spam, which swaps positions and fucks FPS dmg output, or pummel spam, which in most cases kills someone. EVA barely helps here, you need 500hp on all, madios lvl 3 on healers and if I remember get 80SPD on all, with knight slowest, also give it SP bondmate, you'll be spamming that defense. Deep Breath is charged roar with stun, so guard.
Once he drops 1st time (2nd phase),FPS the shit out of him and chug pots with casters. Try using porto too.
When he starts gathering power, knight defense all the time and pray you dealt a ton of dmg during 2nd phase so he might lose turns trying to close the door. If I remember, he also roars at thresholds so be wary of that too.
You can try fighting him to check his dmg output while abusing forced recovery once a day, so you don't get stuck on the floor and continue doing regular stuff.

Why I feel the best character class for the MC is Thief:
1. MC can get higher in any stat than any other character if you stack up Well of the Mind bonuses. This means MC will be good at anything you decide to do, but things start getting real silly if you pump up Evasion as a Thief. Physical attacks just stop hitting you once you get high enough.
2. DIsarming traps costs 1 Vitality for a Thief every time they fail. This can lead to the Thief running out of Vitality long before the rest of the party. The MC does not have Vitality, and so instead you only get 2 attempts on a trap instead of 3. I find this to be an acceptable tradeoff.
3. As a Thief with super high evasion, MC can solo some content that otherwise would require a full party. See my video where I took down Gessi as an example of this. Also, since MC has no vitality, there is zero penalty for dying if MC is doing things solo. Makes it a lot easier to do things like map out the floors of the Old Castle Ruins if you don't have to worry about penalties for a wipe.
4. MC hits very, very hard with critical hits as a Thief if you've got the stat bonuses from spending time as a Fighter.

It's basically an RNGfest.
You want to have at least 2 chars that can cast madios and at least 2 chars that can cast cure spells, preferably more.
After that, it's just praying that the doll doesn't cast charm too often and when it does, it doesn't hit everyone.
The doll doesn't have much hp or damage potential so the greatest threat is charmed allies eating a turn and/or murdering allies.
You can also try upping res and grinding for charm res gear, but people here complain that it doesn't seem to work well. Might be placebo.

I beat Our Heirlooms. 2nd attempt went far smoother, partly thanks to diligently KINAPIC-ing my front row. The added RES does indeed help, the enemy's Charm attacks now only affects 1-2 people instead of 3-4 previously when I did not KINAPIC. My mages/priests did get dangerously close to oom near the end of the fight, shit was cutting it close tbqh.
If anyone else here has yet to beat Our Heirlooms, do try to use gear with RES and MDEF since the boss casts a bunch of damage spells; don't bother too much with DEF since her physical attacks are kinda weak.

Actually, if you look at the rates, ship junk has ~3.6% chance to be 4*, while ninja cave junk is 7%.
Ninja junk also has ~30% chance of being ebonsteel tier, so ninja cave is preferable to farm as you can fish for equip upgrades while getting extraction fodder.
I do feel like ship gives more junk on average though.
