I would say it's the opposite, the closer the threat of maintenance mode gets, the more likely they are to break the emergency glass and release a new class, the last 2 times they did there was a massive spike in interest in the game, it also helps the game financially because people need to buy more packs in order to get cards because every new classes dilutes the pool.

I think there's a non-zero chance the last expansion of this year adds Evoker, but even if it doesn't, we should be seeing a new class in the next year or so

Does anyone know a good late game Wild deck? I like to play relaxed decks, I'm not really chasing the highest winrate but I'm tired of making homebrew garbage.
I'm currently playing with a shitty imbue highlander Priest but I faced a really good ramp Druid that had stuff like Kologarn, Mutanus, Crystal Cluster, Renathal, Ysera Aspect and some dragons, but I can't find a similar decklist anywhere online.

I think renothal shaman is the most underrated wild deck maybe ever, not only is it legit really strong once you are familiar with every match up it's so versatile and rewarding to play, it's basically a swiss knife that can do anything
it's comfy to play too being a minion curve deck at heart but with so many small nuances you learn as you play, I played this more than any other deck combined in either format in the past year or so and it's the main reason I still play the game
Normally I run ETC with cold storage, macaw and rat but it's been momentarily banned from wild because of some exploit, should be back very soon, I threw in a xavius randomly just to be able to copy the list but no way it's the best choice feel free to replace it with anything you want but once etc is back you have to play it it's vital to the deck, the second rat(or ability to double dip on other disruption) is needed vs imbue mage and otk decks and the synergy with shudder is great
