This is meant to be a poverty strat but it's making more money than some of my highly specialized hundreds of divs builds in past leagues. GGG really fucked up the power curve, I'm farming now for a high end t17 farming build (thinking penis brand but might go for a bow build) but a decent build which doesn't have 100 caveats is going to cost me a fortune. There really is no point in running normal t17s or investing in your build past being able to clear t16s unless you're doing multiple divs per map investment strats.

Does pack size actually do anything for Harbinger drops or am I just rerolling maps for pack size for nothing?

So I've been messing around with pob's custom settings with dots. 50/50 between increased and multiplier seems to be the sweet spot while "more" is you take what you can because the sources of it are incredibly limited. As far as multiplier to increased goes either way beyond a 40/60 ratio is less damage per % then maintaining that ratio.
But access to multiplier is the limiting factor compared to increases. Some of the higher dot builds on poe.ninja have 20/80 ratios of multi to increased just due to access.
Is the general build idea around dots just acquire as much "more" as possible then "multiplier" then "increased"? Assuming builds are not specifically around a unique?
I'm fairly new and was watching a old video by someone named subtractem explain it and started dicking off in the custom settings. I followed a build guide for my first character and it was fun I'm just trying to understand the thought process of guides since majority of the guides tell you what to do, not why you're doing it.

if you have multiple sources of "increased" they add up while sources of "more" multiply each other
to put it simply, when an item says "30% more damage" it gives you 30% more damage than without it
as an example, if you have 5 items with 100% increased, you get 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 = 500% increased for a total of 6x damage
if you have 5 items with 100% more, you get 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 32x damage

Long story short.
If you have a large amount of increased then the value of the added increase diminishes in absolute benefit.
Dot multi is the same because dot multi is additive rather than multiplicative against itself, despite it multiplying increases.
Anything that says more is multiplicative against any other more, increased, and multiplier and is the holy grail assuming you have filled out low opportunity cost increased and multiplier.

The buffs to Merc tankiness have basically made them immortal, I just threw a bunch of rarity and support uniques on mine and it doesn't matter, 1k armor, no other defensive layers, uncapped resistances, 3.5k life, they do not die. If you're really paranoid give them The Shaper's Seed, that's all you need.

When I heisted I just ran Tibbs and had him body through doors. Those contract runs only took like 25 seconds to complete compared to the much longer Giana variants. Also, I suspect you need to four-wing reveal blueprints and not simply 1 wing those. I could be superstitious but it's not like any of you care how I spend my time.

The skill meta was mostly the same compounded by the same shitty risk T17 meta. Smite is the most boring strike skill there is, they didn't need to remove splitting steel from the game, it wasn't that busted
The atlas expansion was whatever, there's little impact shaper tier pinnacles can have in the game in its current state, we'll see their ubers. What I did like was their uniques though, multiple build enabling stuff, especially the influence jewel.
