I know I just started playing five days ago, and have gone from bronze 2 to silver 3 in the few times I've played competitive, but why the fuck are so many people in silver so mechanically inept? I know a team comp that’s insanely broken and I don’t think many people realise how busted it is. I call it the melty comp. You run Emma, SW, Cloak, Jeff, and Hulk + Namor. You all hide behind the Emma shield and only half your team has to look in the general direction of one guy and they will get melted in an instant. No aim required.

Hero shooter isn't a new concept. You need a tank, preferably two, as your frontliners to soak the majority of the damage and to be the main distraction to the enemy team. A supports job is literally to focus heal the tanks to allow them to survive to perform THEIR job. DPS job is to kill people and they need tanks to be alive and making the enemies focus on them so the DPS can do THEIR jobs.

How do people not understand this basic concept at this point? If you don't want to "be a healbot" for tanks then don't fucking play support it's literally that simple. Yes they are comparable because you can't realistically react to either of them. First of all saying 1.5 seconds isn't fast is hilarious, but more to the point, the 1.5 seconds feel the same a 0.5 secs because you're fucking stunned for the duration of the 1.5 seconds. That 1.5 seconds takes into account the stun, the travel time of him pulling you to him and the travel time of you being knocked up by the uppercut.
You can't do shit about it and it happens incredibly fast. It's bullshit. I'm glad he's getting nerfed but i doubt it'll even be enough, this character needs to be taken out back and shot in the head same as black panther.

you can tell this game's ranked system is fake because as soon as you go from g1 to p3 suddenly the whole lobby goes from being majority g1 to majority p3. they're matching this shit based on rank instead of any mmr/elo system.

in a real ranked system going up 1 division doesn't drastically change team composition, sometimes it doesn't change at all.
